This is my self portrait near my Bedroom wall covered with magazine pictures. It took me forever to choose the right one! I used Snapseed to brighten my eyes, Then I used Camera+ Diana Filter. After that I used Phototoaster Purple Haze filter.
This picture was taken and edited with the Iphone for the Iphone365 project and for Phone Snap! WonderHowTo's Weekly Photo Challenge: Holiday Themed Photo.
From Astronomy Picture of the Day, Milky Way Over Abandoned Kilns by Tom McEwan. McEwan shot some historic kilns in rural Nevada, stitching together a panoramic "digital conglomerate of five separate images taken in early June from the same location. Visible above the unusual kilns is a colorful star field, highlighted by the central band of our Milky Way Galaxy appearing along a diagonal toward the lower right."
Just showing off the successful social engineering results. Make sure that if you used the guide, post back here with a picture of whatever you bought!
...All memories are gone! _______
One of the many things my boyfriend and I discovered we had in common when we started dating was that we each owned a toy dinosaur, which we like to take pictures of on various adventures. The one in the foreground is mine. I call him Henry.
This forum has a discussion about painting PVC that has some opinions from very accomplished people, including Volpin Props. They go over primers, adhesion promoters, sanding and more, and if you see these people's work, they are the go-to guys for informed ideas on this subject.
Cory's post with instructions and templates Here's my first attempt at the 30 squares model. I needed to be a little bit more careful in the measuring and cutting as not everything matches up - but it is still a really pleasing shape.
Just when I thought I'd scoured the internet for every cool existing PVC project, this thing came up.
Cory has posted some great picture of Father Magnus' intersecting cubes (the great man is holding one in his right hand) - well the above is what happens when five tetrahedra intersect. It is modular origami and made from just ten sheets of origami paper. technically in a folding sense it is easy - but putting it together is mind-warping
I love how this praying mantis appears to pose as I took the picture.
I took this picture in my studio and did some post-processing work that fitted my mood best at this time. ;-)
This is a picture of myself and my boyfriends costumes. The 'scary' art is more the art on the face. Didn't really get to do much Photoshop sadly.
Video accompanying free plans for a photo light box offered on www.WilmerWoodWorks.com Check out our site which is full of great plans and information about woodworking by Steve Wilmer.
This guy shows how he made a hidey hole for his sharks in a 300 gallon aquarium. Very cool.
This is all I can say. He shows step by step. The Picture speaks, I be quiet.
In response to Collin Erickson's awesome abstract light painting. And yes I know...I've already submitted 2 pictures. I'll eliminate myself again. :)
Combine a bunch of fractal objects with mirrors and and lights and the ability to walk around inside and you get something like the image below.
PVC can literally be a life saver in the developing world, as well as in the wake of a disaster. This little article is a picture of innovation after a disaster in the developing world, and it is a perfect example of the simple ways we can do good for each other.
The name of this rose variety is distant drums. I took this picture at the international rose test garden in Portland Oregon. It smelled great too!
Not the best picture, but will do. More will be coming!
Not only am I not the only one, but I'm not the only one saying I'm not the only one!
Found this strange creature beside the road. Didn't dare to touch it, so i took a picture instead. These are actually its real colors- no image enhancing filters or stuff. Taken with a Olympus point and shoot camera.
I was debating whether to use this picture or one of a moonset in the same place, but I thought this one was more interesting.
Minecraft is not just a game. It is a creative tool. Over the past year and a half countless epic builds, servers, and community projects have been undertaken. I'm sure some of you have seen the one-to-one scale recreation of the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek or the epic server Godcraft. Countless projects such as these are being worked on as we speak, and they serve to inspire us all.

Small version of a 3 image stiched panorama out the window of a 737 at 35,000 feet and 500 mph. :) These are fun pictures to take if you have good weather and the window isn't too scratched up.
Potions have been the interest of discussions lately - it was hinted that they would be made using a cauldron. Recent news, however, suggests that the above "brewing stand" would be used instead.
Took this picture with a Canon Rebel XS from the top of a 30 foot tree- not sure why but it looks like I'm 10 feet up... The scary part is that the wind MPH was 50+, and this wasn't a strong tree. Every few seconds I would be half crushed by this "puny" tree (it was still bigger than me!). She (the dog) kept on trying to hop up in the tree!
Took this picture while on a steam boat on Lake Geneva. Not sure why the flag is only stars...
Time-out may only be for a few minutes, but to a child it is a cold and desolate wasteland that you are banished to for an eternity.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I guess a video just comes out and says it. Dancing in front of a Flash firework on the 4th of July.
This is the best game related short I've ever seen. Everything is so well done it's hard to believe it's not a major motion picture.
Over the weekend, Google made several updates to the Google+ profile. Here's how to make the most out of old and new features to make your profile page shine.
This picture was taken on a iPhone 4 in Philmont, New Mexico, while hiking 80 miles. It is some sort of exotic mushroom. I used the X-Pro II filter.
Used 360 Pano app with stereoscopic mode to create picture. Then used X-Pro II filter in Instagram for finishing touches. Enjoy!!
Forget the cheesy band picture. Check out Alex Garcia's location work.
