Here is a new picture of my tree house, I added some trees, and a wooden road coming off of a bridge someone had made. Keep in mid that none of it is actually a part of my build (Due to the fact that package 3 doesn't include wooden fence) But I felt it would make the build itself more presentable. Please enjoy!
Jeb just announced a great new feature that will be added in the 1.2 update. This map format, titled "Anvil," will open Minecraft to so many more possibilities with the new update to mod compatibility.
Even though the Kinect has been on the market for over a year, Microsoft's motion sensing device is far from old news. In fact, Microsoft announced at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that the Kinect for Windows hardware and accompanying software is finally arriving at the start of February. There's even an Amazon page for it already.

So I really like the new colour scheme. This sonobe pentakis dodecahedron uses twelve colours; one for each face.

I took this photo of a dried hydrangia with a blooming cherry tree several yards behind it. The light was just right for the pink of the cherry blooms, a touch of green from the new leaves and the blue of the sky to give a nice Bokeh effect backing for the brown of the dried hydrangia bloom! This is pretty cool here. They're using PVC pipe to make new legs and feet for amputees. Instead of paying thousands of dollars, an amputee can now get a new limb for $25.

This is more of an op-ed piece that is only loosely tied to this world in the sense that what he built involved PVC. What I like about it is it sheds light on what I call the New Poverty. That is, the fact that the plastic and fully automatic world of developed nations impoverishes our creative spirit. It impoverishes the human spirit in a way that you find the New Wealth in places like drought starved Africa.
Jeb tweeted a new image recently, indicating some significant changes to the inventory - stats, possible bottles for potions and more! An earlier tweet seemed to support the potion theory, with a mention of a possible blindness potion. He seemed to indicate that the inventory/stat changes would not take effect in 1.9, however.
