Halloween is getting close. I'll try not to be too gratuitous with this, but I love it. This article shows how to set up an animated framework that you can drape with your own costume to make a unique lawn ornament.
Today, I'm on an art kick, and sadly (happily) I'm finding things that are cooler than the things I make. I love seeing waste turned into art!
I love to make works of art from leftover pieces of pipe. This person shows a sensibility and execution that I can't touch.
I've never tried Mr. Pizza, which seems to be a Korean pizza chain of some sort? I see there's a location in Koreatown, which gets 3 and a half stars on Yelp. They have bulgogi pizza! That is truly something for Kate to try.
I am anti-oil, anti-gas, and just anti-fossil fuel in general, which causes me some serious vaccilation of the mind when it comes to my enthusiasm for the do it yourself wonder material known as PVC. Even though I love this stuff for its properties, I really do not like the processes that go into making and disposing of it. That means I get happy when I see news like this.
I don't know why, but I love cereal. I have like four bowls a day!
My baby loves her Jumperoo, and she's gotten quite fast at jumping up and down in it.
Took this out during a visit to LA. Loved the sunny weather out there...
First trailer for the highly anticipated Dota 2 by Valve. Love the art style.
Forget the cheesy band picture. Check out Alex Garcia's location work.
I thought our CTO +Bryan Crow would either appreciate this geeky joke T-shirt or cringe in embarrassment. I don't know if I can explain it, myself, as I am most definitely not a geek. But as someone who's married to a nerd, can recognize nerdy jokes.
Used the FX-Camera application on my Droid X. Love the polaroid effect on photos. This is a self portrait of myself. Trying to keep cool with this heat! Good luck everyone with the giveaway contest!
I've been trying to get a picture of my favorite pond for years. Jerking the camera vertically over a slightly long exposure did it. It's not a perfect pond but I love it anyway. The blur got rid of the stuff I didn't like. I can't wait to try this in other places.
I just found this via +Adele Shakal. Now this is how you use Google Docs. This document is an epic collaborative project that assembles all the available tips and tricks for Google+. I think I'm in love with everyone who wrote this manual. It's elegant, clear and well, not concise, but a great introduction to Google+.
Love this interactive map of Reykjavik! It almost makes me feel like I'm right there. This took over 2 years to make! Via The Map Room.
Love this work! Time to stop trying to make every shot perfect!
Kevin & Maryann Gianni post daily videos about health, raw foods, fitness...they frequently answer questions and post recipe videos. I love them. :o)
This website is one of my personal favorites. You can easily shop and compare electricity rates for different companies. I love their display and how organized their searches are! I hope you find it resourceful.
i normally use my 5d canon, but more and more i'm drawn to use just my cell phone... even at paid photo shoots! love my hipstamatic app :)
Jim Lahey's no-knead bread is my favorite easy bread recipe. I've written an article about it, with a slight adaptation of Lahey's recipe here. I'd love to see the instructions drawn out Yumi-style!

I'd love to see a YUMI guide for how to draw hands (No matter what I try, my hands always seem to come out looking like fat sausage balloons, way too large for the body they're supposed to be attached to).
When you get caught between the moon and New York City, the best that you can do, is fall in love WITH THE ARTHUR REMAKE starring Russell Brand. I know, I know...
Mike was lucky enough to have Leigh Whannell and James Wan drop by the Film Lab to discuss their new movie INSIDIOUS, which we loved back during Midnight Madness and opens Friday April 1st in theatres everywhere.
Loving the Kate Lander's Birthday Brunch as featured on The Party Dress. Kelly, the WH Hostess contributed to the beautiful details of the brunch. Great job ladies!
Cars 2 is Pixar's latest project and if you loved Cars 1, this one looks right up your alley.
Here we have a unique piece of work. Miley Cyrus, the girl that started out as a 12 year old acting on Hannah Montana, is now 17 and showing some skin. Do we care? Apparently, parents do. So it seems as if if Cyrus wasn't able to do what she wants in her music videos because of these complaints parents are making. Of course, those complaints are natural, I mean, 8 year old girls look up to her, which really pressures her being a role model.
Pucker up! We've got lots of amazing makeup artists here on WonderHowTo, but photographer Paige Thompson's animals-as-lipstick are so cute, they're almost kissable (except for the ton of makeup you'd end up ingesting). VIA Cakehead Loves Evil
This is one of my favorite recipes. Since kare kare is almost always joked as a poorman's stew (your rich before you cook it and you become a poor man when you eat it), this take of the sumptously ox tail, tripe and meat kare-kare really makes you love the dish without drying your wallets dry...
A tribute to Julia Child that you will love for its intense flavor! For this dish, you will need: 3 live lobsters or 6 lobster tails, olive oil, 1 medium carrot, 1 medium onion, 3 tablespoon minced shallots, 1 clove mashed garlic, 1/3 cup cognac, 1 tablespoon chopped tomatoes, 2 tablespoons tomato paste, 1 cup fish stock, 2 cups dry white wine, 2 tablespoons parsley, 1 tablespoon tarragon, 6 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, juice from 1/2 a lemon, salt and pepper. Mike 'The Greek' drops by the Film Lab to deliver his own TED talk. The subject: How to make an Best Picture Oscar-winning film (based on numbers and statistics, which he loves maybe even more than money)

I would love to see the entire world done in Tron 2.0 fashion.
I love the first poster for this movie "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" the latest woody allen film. The negative space created with the hands is beautiful.

A group of R/C helicopter enthusiasts (of the superbly named entertainment production company Dude Licking a Pole Production) outfit a mini 'copter with little missiles, and send it out to hunt balloons in the cold Swedish wild. Motivation: mystifying. Outcome: wonderful. It's like James Bond meets an arcade game. And it's got everything we love: R/C , fireworks, and great video game style motion graphics.
Its often difficult to go on a diet without thinking of those foods you love, every moment of that day. Meditation is a fantastic way to clear you mind before work/school run etc..
Do you love the internet? Me too. That's why you should learn about Net Neutrality. Though this video was made a few years ago, the basic principles have stayed the same, and Net Neutrality laws are currently on the tables of governments all over the world. Get informed and save the internet!
Here it is!!! Soon it will be on Amazon and about a dozen art blogs. Love it!
