News: Little Clank to Make You Smile on a Monday
Thought I would share a pic of a little "clank" I made a few weeks ago. This one was inspired by the Girl Genius online comic. Repurposed out of a sugar bowl I found at Savers.

I just saw that the Rocketeer is being rebooted. It's visually one of my favorite movies and it really doesn't need to be rebooted. It's a great steampunk movie, but still not as good as the comics. The full article is here if you want to see. It's not very far along yet but I'm sure it will be bad.
Whether you're into cosplay or not, this life sized army "figurine" is awesome. The photo realistic plastic toy soldier was a contestant in a cosplay competition at Italy's Lucca Comics & Games 2008.
At WonderHowTo we've drowned and revived a fly, we've flown fly-powered aircrafts, and now we are inspired to make our own Dead-Fly-Art.

I loved The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay for so many reasons. For its fantastical sense of adventure, set against the real world action and tragedy of the Jews in Europe during World War Two. I loved the opening chapters of Josef in Prague – a city I spent several months in a few years ago and one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. Reading scenes set in Prague and descriptions of places I’ve seen made the story that much more personal for me.
Kiss Ass Game First Impressions Review of the game next week. Here are some quick impressions of the game and the first level
Congratulations to Bryan Kiguchi for Dreaming Little Bird, our winning shot of the Phone Snap Double Exposure Challenge!
The iPhone and iPod touch are nearly identical devices, especially now that Apple has added a front-facing camera to the iPod touch. All that's missing is the phone part. With the help of Lifehacker and apps like Skype and Line2, you can save some money by turning your iPod Touch into an iPhone, without the need to jailbreak.
Infographics are lots of fun, so how about illustrated recipes? Recipelook currently indexes 67 recipes and growing. There's a whole range in quality- a selection of my favorite drawings below.
We are so psyched and psychopathed about the upcoming screening in Denver on April 15th. This will be the second year for me, ford austin, to appear as a special guest at the Starfest Horrorfest Convention and I can't wait! The fans at Starfest are rabid. Think about it....you will never go to a convention called Drama-Con or RomantiCon will you? Noone is going to dress like your character and ask you for you autograph if you play some lonely douchebag in a Jennifer Lopez movie. they wil...

Get Money First you need to find a way to get 60 dollars or less, depending on what game you are going to choose to rent.
Sometimes, paying for the whole Xbox LIVE service might seem like a waste of money. You're constantly experiencing lag, you've got people modding and cheating, kids are being loud and obnoxious over the mic, and your kill-to-death ratio is getting dumped on. Basically, the whole multiplayer experience just isn't cutting it anymore—you want to go back to the classic world of single player. Well, there's always downloadable content—simply known as DLC.
The Metal Gear series is pretty famous for being gonzo-meta with it's easter eggs and extras. Take this one for instance. To get the 'Hideo Kojima' achievement in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD, you have to recruit Hideo Kojima, the lead designer of the entire Metal Gear series.
Victor Zsasz is one seriously messed up dude. Since I don't read too many Batman comics, I'm not that familiar with the character. But after experiencing him in Batman: Arkham City, I'm ready to read up more about him.

How I miss home and the roasted pig my mom and dad prepared for my birthday last year.
Who is Lara Croft? Video game character. Comic strip hero. Action figure. Actress Angelina Jolie. All wonderful, yet all fictional. If you're looking for a flesh-and-blood archetype, try XtremeJenn, a Lara Croft cosplayer who's linked her real life "hobbies" to the world's beloved Tomb Raider. Found on Unreality Mag, this picture is the real thing. No green screen, no staging. XtremeJenn does everything a badass Tomb Raider should do: skydiving, base jumping, and some serious rock climbing.
Before last Sunday I hadn't been to a proper game store since I was in middle school. Over ten years ago. If you decide to stop reading right now because I obviously don't care enough about MTG to be writing this thing, I don't blame you. But I tell you, friends, as someone who has denied the utter awesomeness of their hobby for too long, that going to Emerald Knights in Burbank made me feel at home. I want to tell you about it and explain why I will be back many times in the future.
We have an extra 30 day guest pass, so we are giving it away! Play the new Final Fantasy 14 MMO for 30 days free!
You tell us. It's quite possible Christopher Nolan locked The Dream of a Lifetime into his memory bank, not knowing years later it would subconsciously shape Inception:
Here is the official trailer for the Movie "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" Alternate Teaser Trailer here. Here are some movie clips from "Scott Pillgrim Vs The World"

I love books almost as much for their book covers as I do their actual books. A well-designed book cover matches the intent and spirit of the story, and can often enhance the experience of reading it.
OK, so Halloween is over. However, I couldn't resist posting Michelle Phan's Sailor Moon/Manga makeup tutorial. Michelle makes incredible beauty tutorials (don't miss her Lady Gaga look!).
The visual beauty of images on Google+ means that it's not just a great place for photographers to shine, but also serves as a befitting promotional space for web comic artists. Below, 7 talented individuals who have utilized the Google+ platform.
In case you haven't noticed, I absolutely adore video games. Most of my friends don't, so to get my fix of knowledgable video game conversation I have turned to podcasts. They're free, they feature the smartest people in games journalism, and can be enjoyed while doing just about anything. Working. Walking the dog. Crying yourself to sleep. Whatever you're into.
Here I'm going to show you the most easiest and quickest way to make a cartoon from your photos. the photo can be anything, but must be well focused. so let's start with it.
Hey Everybody,
There are quite a few different types of headphones, and they all have their fair share of both pros and cons. Circumaural (full-size) headphones typically have better sound quality, but the in-ear kind are much more convenient to wear on the go.
Toys are not only useful for playtime, they can also be wonderful props to photograph. With the right setting, pose and angle, you can bring your subject to life. To participate in this week’s Phone Snap Challenge, photograph a toy of your own and post it to the corkboard by Monday, December 5th at 11:59 pm PST for a chance to win a Pop Art Color Toy Camera.
Gamers who haven't already gotten tickets to PAX Prime, there is sad news. Three-day passes for the event are officially sold out, three full months before it starts. That is a Coachella-like ticket sale speed for such a large event.
Nintendo's Wii Remote came close, but never has a video game peripheral garnered such adoration from the hacker community than the Kinect.
It looks like Sony is adding some cool features to their upcoming portable game system called NGP (Next Generation Portable).
Wow, kids and their wild imaginations... Monster Engine is a gallery of kids drawings copied by painter Dave Devries. The project began in 1998, when Devries posed the simple question: What would a child's drawing look like if it were painted realistically?
Oh yeah, this is a big topic, at-least for me. All the frequent flyers will/should be interested in this topic. I'm sure all of you have heard at-least something about the TSA, and most of it should have been bad. Complaints, lawsuits and general disgust surround this organization. Is there a reason, or are the 'extremist liberals' at it again? Let's find out!
