This March, UK-based marketing director Chris Worth completed a similar endeavor—not by tracing the path of a real-life emperor or explorer, but a humble video game character. After an assumedly nasty break up, Jack Weppler's ex-girlfriend decided to smite him in the most public way possible. The wronged girl uploaded a pile of defamatory images to a picture-hosting website with Weppler's name as the filename, and Google image search did its magic. Just got finished playing Just Cause 2, a fairly new title developed by Eidos & Avalanche. I was fairly skeptical of it due to the 81 metascore on metacritic, but decided to rent it with Gamefly.
