Ever hear of Spokeo? No, it's not a city in Washington state. It's a website called Spokeo.com, and it marks the complete end of privacy on the internet. If your phone number and address has been posted in a phone book, it's on there. If you own a house, chances are there's a picture of it. If you have a Facebook profile, it's probably listed.
Everybody loves barbecue ribs, but not everybody wants to make them, cause they can be pretty messy. But they don't have to be a super messy dish, although messy usually means tastier. Check out this video recipe to see how to make BBQ rub and ribs.
Just in the nick of time. The TSA has come under a lot of scrutiny lately as outrage grows around the country over goons in gloves touching the junk of everybody from toddlers to grandmas. Then there was a suspicious if not improbable al-Qaeda underwear bomber threat to get things back on track. Now we have a French woman with a “surgically implanted device” on transatlantic flight.
What's better than stuffing yourself during Thanksgiving dinner? Gorging on leftovers the next day, of course. Everybody loves a good turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich, but what are some other creative ways to re-purpose all the leftover turkey meat, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and everything else sitting in your refrigerator?
I think this would count as a pet, right? Well, everybody was doing either cats or dogs (with the occasional goat), so I decided to take a picture of something different. This is Pandora, my horse. When you're giving her a bath, she hates when you get her head wet. You can see the water in the lower left corner. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be intimidating or what, but to me it's hilarious! The picture was hard to take, though, because I had to hold the camera and spray water at her.
I took this picture in India at a special holiday- "The wedding of Shiva and Parvati". Everybody put on their best clothes and happy faces. Bananas are launched in the air to pray for good fortune and end up as delicious snacks for the monkeys after they rain down from a yellow sky.
Everybody loves butterflies. What's not to love? They're beautiful. But extremely fragile. Touch a wing, and the butterfly is immediately weakened, if not rendered completely flightless (BTW, if you happen upon this situation, we have just the HowTo for you).
Where would we be without science? Not everybody's always fresh as a daisy; try Odegon Technologies' iron-on "Odour Tags". When attached to clothing, the patches capture your odoriferous molecules in a carbon mesh. Somehow the patches don't come off in the wash and run about 18 bucks for a pack of six.

Pakistan has officially banned Facebook on May 19th. Therefore, access to the beloved FarmVille game is also blocked. What will happen to those eager farmers? Will they find a way around it? Will Pakistanis stand for this outrage?
Shell out a mere two grand and you can build yourself your very own operating airplane. Back in 1928, Bernard H. Pietenpol decided everybody should have the option of personal flight. So Pietenpol drew up the plans for the Pietenpol AirCamper, and guess what? His family is still selling the plans for it.
Here's some good news if you were hankering for a little early-2000s electronic-scream-rap-metal to get you through the day. Linkin Park's debut release, Hybrid Theory, the 48th best-selling album of all time, is available for free on the Google Play Store. Hate to break it to everybody abroad, but it looks like the album is free only to users in the U.S.
Are you bored of draping a scarf around your neck in a single loop like everybody else? Tie both ends of a long scarf to form a large loop, then loop the scarf around your neck twice to create a DIY infinity scarf.
If you are living in California, you have probably already heard by now that the state is in a severe drought of unprecedented levels. Even if you don't live in a drought-affected area, it is extremely vital for everybody on this planet to conserve water as much as possible.
Do you experience a pang of envy when you scroll through your Facebook news feed, Instagram home, or Twitter timeline and see all your friends doing super-awesome things that you weren't a part of? If you are like most people, then the answer is probably yes.
If you're in a social situation where you're meeting a lot of new people and you want to make the other person feel at ease, subtly mirror the other person's body language and make a point to say the other person's name.
Warnings THIS STUNT IS INCREDIBLY ENTERTAINING
Middle school lunch tables are begging for this prank. Wait, who are we kidding? Everybody's lunch table could use a ketchup explosion every once in a while!
The whole world is connected to the Internet, which means bank for advertising companies who track your every move online. Most of the content you see on the web is free, and that's because of advertisements. If there were no ads, none of us would be addicted to the Internet because none of us would be able to afford it.
The chin-up… everybody hates them. But it's one of the best exercise you can do to improve arm strength. Men's Health shows you the correct way to do a "chin up" in this exercise video. When performing a chin-up, keeping a slight bend maintains tension in your biceps.
Sudoku is very simple to learn, it needs no calculations, and provides an amazing variety of logic situations. All that's required is brain power and concentration. Get the rules straight and try one out for yourself.
Guerrilla Games' Killzone 3 (PS3) opened strong in its first week, topping the charts as the best-selling game worldwide, as well as in the Americas, beating out Bulletstorm (Xbox 360) and powerhouses like Wii Sports (Wii) and Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360). In its second week, it fell two spots worldwide, but kept its first place title in the Americas. BioWare's Dragon Age 2 is expected to dethrone it in its third week, but that doesn't mean Killzone 3 isn't a badass game to get your han...
"The Christmas Song" is the Christmas song of all songs, but many know this holiday favorite under a different name— "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire". It may not be as old as other Christmastime favorites, like "Jingle Bells" or "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", but thanks to Mel Tormé and Bob Wells, it's now a quintessential Xmas song, even for ukulele players.
Everybody loves lasagna, but how about trying something new with your lasagna meal? Like zucchini. Try out this zucchini lasagna, which is very light, and can come straight form your garden. Watch the video recipe to learn how to make a zucchini lasagna.
Aside from food, oxygen, sunlight and water, there are other necessities that humans arguably need today to survive—clothing, love and shelter among them. Almost everyone wears clothes, needs somebody (or something) to love and a place to call home. And what's the one thing that connects all three? Something we all have? Keys.
To go Open Source or go proprietary? There is a common conception that open-source is unsafe and insecure and therefore companies should rather go for proprietary solutions. They think that because software is termed "open-source", that the world can see the vulnerabilities of the software and might exploit it, and less informed people tend to think that open-source software can be modified while it is running.
Eye-catching graphics are a must for any design project. Sure, there are tons of stock illustration sites, but you want something original. In order to stand out, you need to capture attention.
There is no fan experience in professional sports quite like watching an NBA game live. Partly, this can be attributed to the combination of fluid teamwork and jaw-dropping athleticism the players exude in the form of size, speed, jumping ability, grace, and strength. What truly differentiates the NBA from the spectators' perspective, though, is the figurative nakedness of the players. While the NFL buries its athletes beneath pads and masks, the NBA presents its talent in shorts and a tank top.

What happens when you combine a passion for astronomy and a love of wine? Cabernet that's out of this world. Literally. It's called Meteorito, and has a berry, nutty flavor with just a hint of iron and nickel. The wine was made by oenophile and amateur astronomer Ian Hutcheon, who runs his own vineyard and established an observatory in Chile called Centro Astronomica Tagua Tagua.
When it comes to coffee, some people just like perfection. Most would agree that the best cup of coffee comes from home, after roasting your own green coffee beans. But not everybody has the time or money to have complete control over their coffee's flavor. Roasting via stovetop or oven produces mélange (not quite perfection), and home roasters can be pricey.
