Boo Box Challenge: Troubadour Show
I can't remember who this was, but saw them at the Troubadour. They were opening for another band. There was like two people there for the opener. Felt kinda bad, but that's life.

Some guy bought all this online for $100. How much did all these cost the seller to accumulate? I feel sorry for them, and profoundly jealous of the buyer Master Marf.

You can almost feel the pain of Dave Kaleta’s outstretched, dissected frog (which is pretty incredible, considering it was constructed with those tiny, plastic bricks we call LEGOs). Kaleta's work of LEGO art was built for the MOCPages MOC Olympics.
New trailer for "The King's Speech", directed by Tom Hooper (John Adams,The Damned United) and shot by Danny Cohen (John Adams,Pirate Radio). Really interesting use of framing (shortsided and headroom) and lenses. Among other things, it's refreshing to see the filmmakers choose to shoot a CU with a 24mm that's a foot below the eyeline instead of the conventional 180mm CU that feels like you're in another county.
Here is the amazingly original social network trailer Here is a parody of that trailer done for ping. Its amazing what a single track of music can do to create the feeling of a trailer.
The following is a really great article for writers who feel that they have good talents but have not reached that next level in creativity.

Ohio's hurtin' right now. After their heartfelt (kinda achingly pathetic, in fact) plea to the tune of M.J.'s "We Are the World", Lebron James turned his back on his home state, choosing Miami. If you missed their performance (including the mayor plus other local celebs), check it out.

Remember you only live once, you only get to see once, hear once, speak once, and love once. Remind your self this, and remember a smile takes half as many muscles as a frown and makes a person feel twice as happy. Spread the happiness, spread the love, maybe it will back around to you?

Finished Act 1 (3 total) of Red Dead Redemption and it was disappointing. The act is divided into five important people who you have to do missions for in order to progress the story. Around five missions per person on average. Only Bonnie and the Marshall's story missions felt tied to the storyline. Dickens, Seth, and Irish's missions felt like they added nothing but padding to the game. Add that nothing that you do in the game affects the world around and it's like you never existed in the ...

The World Expo is "awesome" this year! It's in Shanghai, China, and if you want to express how you feel about the 2010 Expo, then you're going to have to learn a little of the Shanghai language. Otherwise, you won't be able to tell the locals how "awesome" it is. Sure, you could say it in your native tongue, but what does that mean to the people of Shanghai?
This has got a nice feeling to it, I wonder how long this LEGO crime thriller is going to be.

I can't help but feel this video is genius. In the beginning it seems CGI, but quickly you realize its all done with practical camera and effects. Shows what can be done when you are clever.
