This trick can be done anytime, anywhere, with one of the easiest props ever: a matchbox. The props couldn't be simpler: just find an empty matchbox that has the same design on both sides. I don't have a cool cell phone to use apps to filter my pictures. I think that the pictures taken with apps can look really cool though. I think someone should make an app that does what I did in Photoshop to the following photos. My wife calls it blueprint style.
I thought this one was interesting. Long exposure while zooming out. All of the bright spots from the guitar became streaking lines. Maybe not that scary but I thought it was an interesting technique with an interesting result. Probably would have worked a lot better in a better location! My classroom isn't that interesting.

This was taken in Las Vegas. I think this was using lights from one of the hotels in the Mandalay bay complex. 15 second exposure I think.
