News: NYC's Secret Video Game World

While it's unlikely you'll encounter this caliber of insane pixelated madness in real-life, everyday New York City, you might be lucky enough to walk past a tangible "portal" of sorts. Below, images from Pixel Pour 2.0, an installation on Mercer Street in Soho.

News: Kinect Hacked To Play Full-Body World of Warcraft

The world has been overflowing with Microsoft Kinect hacks, each more amazing than the last. The latest innovation, created by a group of engineers at USC, promises an exciting future in gaming (and gets gamers off their asses). News: Shadows of the Dammed Trailer

A new game from the makers of No More Heroes and Resident Evil coming out on 2011 from EA. It looks like something like out of a Quentin Tarantino movie. A third person shooter, it's probably another attempt by creators in Japan to tap into the lucrative shooter market in the US.

News: Taking the world by storm!

Wow, it's been almost 2 weeks and FrontierVille has almost as many daily active users as Treasure Isle! I'm not surprised as that game kind of faded away, but I bet it will be a while before it catches up with FarmVille.

That's not Super Mario Bros., but rather a Konami clone. Who even knew these existed? Dr. Sparkle is going to play every game in the Nintendo Entertainment System, Famicom and Famicom Disk System. In chronological order. He's even recording videos with commentary and review.

News: Millenium Challenge

In 2000, the U.S. Joint Command Forces, a sort of think tank within the military, began planning a war game named Millennium Challenge. The scenario of the game was as follows: a rogue military commander had broken away from his government somewhere in the Persian Gulf and was threatening to engulf the entire region in war.
