The microwave has an extraordinary number of uses that goes above and beyond reheating your cold leftovers from last night's dinner. For food-related uses, the microwave can also make your lemons more squeezable for maximum juice output, roast garlic heads, decrystallize hardened honey, dry up fresh herbs, and more.

I'm pretty sure every villain Batman has put away over the years makes an appearance in Batman: Arkham City. If that fact weren't so awesome, it'd be freaking ridiculous. To get the 'Sandstorm' achievement, you have to defeat Ra's al Ghul in some sort of magical sand land.
Moderator Andrew has constructed an epic sailing vessel. Okay, it doesn't actually sail, but it is epic in scale. This ship is so large it disappears in the render fog. Made from lots of wood, wool, and a few missed matches blocks, this is a great example of unique Minecraft architecture. Not only is it fit to hold hundreds of players, his ship is equipped with several giant bows ready to tear apart it's enemies. Unfortunately, the sailing and fighting will have to remain in our imaginations ...
My goal here is to eventually show every single thing that people have come up with using PVC pipe so that we can be truly innovative here. What I'm starting to notice is that the cutting edge is in constant motion. We, as human beings, continue to improve on yesterday's ideas. While this page in particular is not extremely remarkable, it continues to show the versatility of this material. Sooner or later though, this coarkboard should have a nice rundown of everything that people are doing. ...
Image Courtesy of Geistig I'd like us to start some big community builds that can be edited and worked on over time. An ancient or Medieval city sounds pretty cool. Maybe we can do some PvP in it, in the future as well!
It is so easy that there's a kid showing how to do it. This pump can mean the difference between water and no water in some places.
This brief video, uploaded by Jeb, shows the remarkable difference between a normal walking-speed jump, and a sprint-charged jump! The distance a player can jump is at least twice what it would be normally, which opens up a lot of navigation possibilities! Take a look!
Epic Games announced today that the free version of Unreal Engine 3, Unreal Development Kit or UDK, is now compatible with Mac OS X. Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan's early fall 2010 L.O.V.E. sculpture has generated its fair share of upset. The Italian artist installed a marble monument of the middle finger in Milan's Piazza Affari, directly in front of the Italian stock exchange building. The 13-foot sculpture is attached to a base, bringing it to a total height of 36 feet.
Faux Wood Blinds Faux Wood Blinds are growing in popularity and are a great alternative to real wood blinds.
Get crafty this Easter weekend with egg blowing, a technique where you poke holes on the ends of raw eggs and blow out all the yolk so that you can use the empty, still-intact eggshells for painting and decorating. Fun for the whole family and all that huffing and puffing just may distract you long enough from over-binging on the giant chocolate bunny and that package of sugary Peeps. Happy Easter!
So...I really liked the original Fast and the Furious movie, because I think Vin Diesel is awesome. (How could the voice of the Iron Giant not be?) But I hated the subsequent sequels, because he wasn't in them. But in this latest version, Fast Five, Vin Diesel is back! If you live in Los Angeles, follow the hilarious blog YouOffendMeYouOffendMyFamily on Twitter and tell them why you want to see the movie. The most interesting reason wins, so be creative!

It's not an easy project by any means—even the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur has fewer steps. But come on, it's an automated giant bubble robot! It's worth it!
If you're like me, just the idea of skydiving triggers nearly-pee-in-the-pants petrification. But with a little imagination, plus Google Image Search and a projector, and all of us ninnies out there can pretend to do the real thing:

The Greek is a very cool venue, if you have pit tickets. I usually don't like sitting for shows but this one might be cool since their latest album Congratulations is a lot less dancy than their debut album Oracular Sepectacular.
This project has been posted on Vimeo for the past two years, and somehow has just entered my radar now. Get this: A robot is manned by a Madagascan hissing cockroach. Each movement the roach makes (perched atop a trackball type ping-pong ball) controls the movement of the robot.

Bored of using your bottle of dishwashing soap for just washing dishes? You're in luck. Not surprisingly, the soapy liquid commonly used for removing stubborn food build-up from your eating utensils can also be used as a general cleaner for washing windows, removing clothing and carpet stains, and cleaning your blender without taking it apart. For more unusual uses, dishwashing liquid is surprisingly useful for prepping your nails before a manicure and can even be used to kill fleas.
