Earbuds have always been a problem for me. Maybe I have abnormally shaped ears, but when I go running, my iPod Shuffle earbuds are a chronic distraction, always popping out. With the iPod Shuffle, you're bound by the Apple brand earbuds, as the controls are on the headphones rather than the device itself. Damn you, Apple.
Dress weeman up in a baby costume, put him in a buggy, and dress somebody up as an old lady ( maybe Spike? ) Walk around the town doing with the old lady having terrible accidents with the baby such as letting go of the buggy down a hill, smashing the buggy into certain things, falling on the curb etc. It could be called " Grandma and Baby " as opposed to " Daddy and Baby ". Also, as the baby is weeman, when people try to stroke the " baby " He says things like " do not fu*king touch me lady!...

Another sweet boat this weekend (see yesterday's Zipper Motorboat), the Seabreacher X is a high-speed sub, fashioned after a man-eating shark. Built by Innespace, the submarine has a 260 horsepower engine, can speed through the water at 50 mph on the surface and 25 mph when diving, and best of all: the Seabreacher X can jump 12 feet into the air!
First you are going to need some big speakers. Then you need to record the sound of a car accident. Now hide the speakers near a busy crosswalk. Turn up the volume and wait for people to cross the street.

This is one stylin' bicycle. Ok, I admit. I stared at the handle bars and marveled. Wow, the designer and driver of this masterpiece must have impeccable balance. You know, the "look ma no-hands type of balance". But I was wrong. The design is even more clever. Finnish designer Olli Erkkila installed a steering rod running through the frame. Venice Beach bicycle fetishists are drooling in envy as you read...
Not Martha takes another stab at making homemade, "bathtub" gin (see previous). Try her latest modification, and report back in the comment section below, please! This variation omits the heavy orange zest flavoring in the first recipe.

Cobbled together from thousands of empty cigarette packs, this electric-powered vehicle puts the "car" in carcinogen. Looking suspiciously like something the China National Tobacco Corporation would commission as part of an advertising campaign, the Bugatti Veyron-style auto is actually meant to discourage smoking. The English-language version of the People's Daily offers the following explanation:

Where would we be without science? Not everybody's always fresh as a daisy; try Odegon Technologies' iron-on "Odour Tags". When attached to clothing, the patches capture your odoriferous molecules in a carbon mesh. Somehow the patches don't come off in the wash and run about 18 bucks for a pack of six.

Experimental house, "Roll It", is a collaborative project within Germany's University of Karlsruhe. The basic concept is as follows: using a cylindrical design to maximize space within a minimum housing unit. Not sure how "space efficient" this would actually be, but using it as transport could be fun (until the nausea inevitably sets in).

I was shooting last Friday and for a particular shot I wanted a special on a product; I wanted it focused, but soft. Unfortunately we had run out of flags to cut it so my Key Grip came up with a great DIY solution: cut a hole in black wrap, put it on a stand a few feet away from the light (Dedo 400W HMI) and cover that hole with a light diffusion (Opal). The distance from the light guaranteed a defined shape while the diffusion softened up the light itself.

Along with her and the support of passionate Los Angelenos, urban farming advocates won approval clarifying an ordinance on whether people can sell fruit and vegetables they grow in their yard.
