It's been eighteen years, but the game that solidified my dorkdom for good is still coming out with new sets, still fun as hell to play, and deserves some love dammit. To that end, I have started this World: A Magic: The Gathering Spot.
Besides Killing Floor, I played a bit of The Witcher over the weekend. If you're curious about the game now is the perfect time. It's on sale on Steam, and the sequel is being released early next year. Though the game is three years old, it's still one of the best western rpgs on the PC. After the most troubled development in gaming history, Duke is back. And it's...certainly a game that's been in development for fourteen years. Quality aside, there's still some good achievements in the game. In the latest DLC for the game, "The Doctor Who Cloned Me", released this past week. Along with new multiplayer maps, the DLC brought with it a brand new singleplayer campaign. Which means more achievements!
A quick note before we get to any achievement talk. To get the 'Jaws' achievement in Battlefield 3, you'll need the Back to Karkand DLC. There are two ways to get it, though. Either you payed for it, or you got it for free because you pre-ordered the game.
Another great thing about Batman: Arkham City? The rogues gallery! Every great villain from Batman's history shows up in the game, and it's always awesome when they do turn up. Even Mr. Freeze, my least favorite of Batman's enemies, is kind of cool in the game (see what I did there?).

I guess it takes the designer to explain, but it's the altitude that's affecting the unpredictable movement on the ball, not the ball itself. Defending himself, he says the ball's been around since December and no one's complained until now. I know it's a problem in Jo'Burg and Nelspruit (highest venue in WC history). But Cape Town's at sea level, does anyone know if the problem exists there?

This style would influence many films to come and would become one of the most memorable graphic elements in film history. Looking back on Alan Wake, more than a year and a half after its release, it's still one of my favorite games. The graphics and ambience have held up well in comparison to any other story driven game, and it's still the best third-person horror game out there, in terms of gameplay. Given how few horror games are actually out there this generation, I would definitely recommend giving this game a try since it's dirt cheap to rent or buy.

To understand how mind-blowing this achievement is for me, it should be known that Metal Gear Solid 2 is one of my favorite games ever made. Like, in the history of video games, this is probably my second favorite game of all time. I know every where secret, item, and Easter egg is in this game.
