Hello everyone! I'd really love for my implementation to get more popular and become one of the official java implementations of the DCPU. If you could help me out by bug testing or sending me a pull request to add new features, that'd be awesome. Thanks!
Anonymous hacktivists announced via Twitter that they had successfully hacked the website of New York Iron Works, a police-equipment supplier, and replaced the homepage with a tribute of love to arrested hacker and Chicagoan Jeremy Hammond.
I totally love the poem "My Little Angel" It's awesome and even better it's a SONNET!
Can't say I'm big into fan art, so when this challenge got me to search the web for some recent fan art drawings, I was surprised to just how NSFW they were. I came across some weird Glee animal hybrids making love and some true Linsanity on the basketball court. But as this is a SFW competition, I'll just go with this...
Add a little love to your next bento box or afternoon snack with a heart-shaped hardboiled egg. Other than one freshly cooked and peeled hardboiled egg, all you need is one milk carton, one round chopstick and rubber bands. Perfect for brightening up your special someone's day (and much more original than a dozen red roses!).
Follow Christina & Papi as they bring you to the place where they discovered more than an addiction. A place where they found Love & Happiness, Paradise City.
Oobject put together a neat compilation of the famous telephone inventor's love for tetrahedrons. Scroll down to see his collection of pyramids, building towers, buildings, boats, kites and planes—all made completely out of tiny tetrahedrons. Amazing.
Just a Christmas pic, not for a challenge. I got the Big Lens App after seeing Cerek's photo I love this group! Merry Christmas to everyone!
I think most of these are iPad apps, which I don't have, but I'd love to see some reviews of some of these apps to find out whether they're worth downloading or not.
I spent a little bit more time making 6 sided Kirigami Snowflakes using the method of this post. I'm really happy with how all of these turned out. I'd love to see other people post up some snowflakes. They're easy and a lot of fun. And I could use some more inspiration!
This is one of my grand-babies toys! I love the bright colors along with the blur and bokeh effect! I used my iPhone 3gs.
She's not the dog from Mike & Molly, but she might as well be. This is Daisy, our 14lb mix. She's Shih Tzu, Chihuaha, Terrier, and Chin...or oops. She's what happened when our friends didn't know their dog was still in heat.
This is Xena, the most remarkable dog I've every had the privilege to own and love and take care of. RIP 5.18.2011. This was taken with a cheap $59.99 camera.
I love how this praying mantis appears to pose as I took the picture.
"Google+ is dead." How many times have you read that in the past few weeks? It seems like I can't get away from this notion that Google+, as a social network, is a total failure. Don't feel too sorry for them, though. +Bradley Horowitz isn't worried. In an interview with VentureBeat, he explains, “Six months from now, it will become increasingly apparent what we’re doing with Google+. It will be revealed less in what we say and more in the product launches we reveal week by week.” Indeed, som...
This is the bastard love child of a clarinet and a saxophone. And it shows you how to make them.
It's a chair, but I love the name. It's also called the PP chair, so take your pick, they're both great. Either way, this is awesome, and it'd be fairly easy to make.

Since its inception, Google+ users have been a loud, vocal bunch, and they've made their displeasure known about many issues, especially on the lack of support for pseudonyms, Google Apps, and brand pages. It's been especially galling for many Google loyalists, who found their Google+ profiles suspended, when they ended up violating the Google+ "common name" policy.
Halloween is getting close. I'll try not to be too gratuitous with this, but I love it. This article shows how to set up an animated framework that you can drape with your own costume to make a unique lawn ornament.
Today, I'm on an art kick, and sadly (happily) I'm finding things that are cooler than the things I make. I love seeing waste turned into art!
I love to make works of art from leftover pieces of pipe. This person shows a sensibility and execution that I can't touch.
I've never tried Mr. Pizza, which seems to be a Korean pizza chain of some sort? I see there's a location in Koreatown, which gets 3 and a half stars on Yelp. They have bulgogi pizza! That is truly something for Kate to try.
I am anti-oil, anti-gas, and just anti-fossil fuel in general, which causes me some serious vaccilation of the mind when it comes to my enthusiasm for the do it yourself wonder material known as PVC. Even though I love this stuff for its properties, I really do not like the processes that go into making and disposing of it. That means I get happy when I see news like this.
I was working on a different Google+ Insider's Guide post when suddenly, my Google+ stream started filling up with news of Steve Jobs' death. Since that moment, many people in the tech industry have paused to reflect on the legacy that Steve Jobs left behind, and talk about what his vision meant for the rest of the industry, and for them personally. There's no tech sector that was untouched by Steve Jobs' influence, and that includes Google.
I don't know why, but I love cereal. I have like four bowls a day!
My baby loves her Jumperoo, and she's gotten quite fast at jumping up and down in it.
Took this out during a visit to LA. Loved the sunny weather out there...
First trailer for the highly anticipated Dota 2 by Valve. Love the art style.
Forget the cheesy band picture. Check out Alex Garcia's location work.
I thought our CTO +Bryan Crow would either appreciate this geeky joke T-shirt or cringe in embarrassment. I don't know if I can explain it, myself, as I am most definitely not a geek. But as someone who's married to a nerd, can recognize nerdy jokes.
Used the FX-Camera application on my Droid X. Love the polaroid effect on photos. This is a self portrait of myself. Trying to keep cool with this heat! Good luck everyone with the giveaway contest!
I've been trying to get a picture of my favorite pond for years. Jerking the camera vertically over a slightly long exposure did it. It's not a perfect pond but I love it anyway. The blur got rid of the stuff I didn't like. I can't wait to try this in other places.
I just found this via +Adele Shakal. Now this is how you use Google Docs. This document is an epic collaborative project that assembles all the available tips and tricks for Google+. I think I'm in love with everyone who wrote this manual. It's elegant, clear and well, not concise, but a great introduction to Google+.
took this over the weekend and just wanted to share the blur
Love this interactive map of Reykjavik! It almost makes me feel like I'm right there. This took over 2 years to make! Via The Map Room.
