After the most troubled development in gaming history, Duke is back. And it's...certainly a game that's been in development for fourteen years. Quality aside, there's still some good achievements in the game. In the latest DLC for the game, "The Doctor Who Cloned Me", released this past week. Along with new multiplayer maps, the DLC brought with it a brand new singleplayer campaign. Which means more achievements!
Here's another Back to Karkand achievement guide for Battlefield 3. This one is for 'Third Tour', which requires you to get a kill using only the BTR-90, DPV, and F-35. Oh, these are all vehicles by the way, so you know this is going to be a fun one.
Moderator Andrew has constructed an epic sailing vessel. Okay, it doesn't actually sail, but it is epic in scale. This ship is so large it disappears in the render fog. Made from lots of wood, wool, and a few missed matches blocks, this is a great example of unique Minecraft architecture. Not only is it fit to hold hundreds of players, his ship is equipped with several giant bows ready to tear apart it's enemies. Every Modern Warfare game has had bits of enemy intel for you to recover, and they're always hidden within the level. The few pieces I've uncovered across the series has always been through dumb luck. But if you want that 'Scout Leader' achievement, you'll have to find all 46 pieces of intel throughout the entire single player campaign.
Another great thing about Batman: Arkham City? The rogues gallery! Every great villain from Batman's history shows up in the game, and it's always awesome when they do turn up. Even Mr. Freeze, my least favorite of Batman's enemies, is kind of cool in the game (see what I did there?).
Here's a tougher achievement for you guys to get in Battlefield 3. In the level "Thunder Run", you take control of a big friggin' tank. Use it to take down six enemy tanks before you reach the fort, and you'll get 25G on Xbox 360, or a bronze trophy on PlayStation 3.
I remember playing this part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 fondly. Not because you take control of an awesome remote-controlled grenade shooting robot, but because I died toward the end of the level and had to restart back at the beginning of the robot section. Stupid checkpoints.
If you're a good shot, this is the achievement for you. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the "Back to the Grid" level, you gain access to a mortar to hold off a few waves of enemies. But the trick to getting the achievement and 20G, or bronze trophy if you're on PlayStation 3, is to take out all of the bad guys using only four shells.
This is one of those achievements that takes some time. How much, you ask? Well, it spans the entire single player game, so quite some time. The Achievement Hunters are on the case, though. In the videos below, you'll see how to gather all of the enemy intel in the first two-thirds of the game. But what about the last act of the game?! They're working on it, and once it's up I'll be updating this post to include it.

The easiest way to get these two trophies in Payday: The Heist is to load up the map Slaughterhouse. Now, to get the 'But How?' trophy, you have to let the armored car fall into the building by itself. But how? Well, after the armored car gets knocked onto the roof the building, just let it sit there. Do not shoot the support cables. If you survive two waves of enemies coming in to get you, the car will fall by itself.
Let's face it. Minecraft probably wouldn't exist today if not for LEGOs. They are fundamentally the same; building objects out of blocks. Only Minecraft has expanded on the idea, creating a world where nearly anything can be made. How about a laser? One that is strong enough to nudge debris out of earth orbit. That's what NASA contractor James Mason wants to do, and his lab simulations suggest that the idea is possible. Mason wants to use a 5kW ground-based laser and a ground-based 1.5 meter telescope to spot potentially hazardous space waste and shove it off, by about 200 meters per day of lasering. It's kind-of like air traffic control for near earth orbit.
