I have to say, the Xbox 360 controller is the best controller ever created. When I first held it back in 2005, I swore that the dudes working at Microsoft came over and took a molding of my hands because of how great it felt. The thing felt like it was born there.

It's commonly known that Bethesda games, at launch, are usually the most buggy games to ever leave the hands of any developer. Fallout: New Vegas used to delete people's save files, it was that bad. But then there are the fairly harmless ones that make a dude's head spin when he's talking to you, or discovering that the land of Skyrim is actually larger than you think it is.
Today marks the release of the first piece of Battlefield 3 DLC, Back to Karkand. If you preordered the game, you got this for free. But for those of us who didn't manage to preorder it, we'll need to shell out $15 for this.
One of the achievements you can get in Battlefield 3 is called 'Army of Darkness', and it doesn't feature Ash from the Evil Dead series. Obviously this is a wasted opportunity, as any game that could have Ash in it, should have Ash in it. But I digress.

As is the case with all of the games in the Uncharted series, trying to find all of the pieces of treasure in the game is an exercise in sudden hair loss and creative use of expletives. At least in my case.
This is one of those achievements that takes some time. How much, you ask? Well, it spans the entire single player game, so quite some time. The Achievement Hunters are on the case, though. In honor of its 25th anniversary, a 70 piece orchestra and choir will preform a selection of songs from the legendary games at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles on Friday, October 21st. For as much money as they've made from North American video game audiences over the years, Japanese game developers don't seem to have very much faith in them. Dozens of great titles from their 40 years in the industry have appeared in Japan and across Europe, oftentimes even in English. But they never make it over to America, like Mother 3, Last Window: Midnight Promise, Dragon Force 2, and Tobal No. 2 (that one didn't even hit Europe).

World of Warcraft has been on top of the world for seven years. No other MMO has come close to challenging its dominance of the genre, and it has generated billions of dollars for Blizzard. They have spent a lot of money adding more and more content, to the extent where the full game with all the expansion packs takes up 65 GB of hard drive space. It is a beautiful game; well balanced, and a milestone in the history of the medium.
