The SCRABBLE Brand trademark has been around since 1948, but video advertisements for the popular board game didn't appear until the start of this millennium. Although there may be a few SCRABBLE video spots out there that predate 2000, I haven't come across them.
Caught this shot on my Univision transmission of the Germany - Ghana game in Soccer City's brand new stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.... That is picture perfect!
Wow, it's been almost 2 weeks and FrontierVille has almost as many daily active users as Treasure Isle! I'm not surprised as that game kind of faded away, but I bet it will be a while before it catches up with FarmVille.
That's not Super Mario Bros., but rather a Konami clone. Who even knew these existed? Dr. Sparkle is going to play every game in the Nintendo Entertainment System, Famicom and Famicom Disk System. In chronological order. He's even recording videos with commentary and review.
Three booth babes from other sections dance to Lady Gaga at E3 during their break.
An interesting game that borrows from the most popular sport in the world. Developed by Asger John in 1964, not as popular as Joel Silver's Ultimate Frisbee. Worth watching.
I'm having a hard time finding my older posts, so I'm sure you are too. I'll put them all here so you can find them easily. You can bookmark this if you want :)

Looks like more in game advertising is coming. This one though, I can't say I don't like it..
Great teaser! The first part is CGI but then it cuts into the game play, literally. The ability to cut at any angle is so awesome. And that watermelon lol.
Finished Act 1 (3 total) of Red Dead Redemption and it was disappointing. The act is divided into five important people who you have to do missions for in order to progress the story. Around five missions per person on average. Only Bonnie and the Marshall's story missions felt tied to the storyline. Dickens, Seth, and Irish's missions felt like they added nothing but padding to the game. Add that nothing that you do in the game affects the world around and it's like you never existed in the ...
It's a really simplistic solution, but apparently it works. Just change your settings on your TV!
A really cool looking CGI trailer. The game comes out this November for PS3/360/PC.
Cool infographic about the history of improvements in ball and shoe design across the world cup years.
Whats the weather like? It's raining gold!!! You'll get your popup around 5pm PST and can view it again if you click the little button for Today's Weather in the lower left corner of your game.
The Earthworm Jim HD remake comes out this week in Xbox Live, and next month on PSN ( the 360 has a 1 month exclusive on the game). Includes new levels and up to four player co-op beside the shiny new graphics. Personally I only beat a few levels in the Snes version way back in the 90's. The co-op sounds fun bud I'd rather have an HD Battletoads to be honest.
Hey, have you ever wished you could design your own video games? With WarioWare D.I.Y. you can! Great for first-timers who want to see what they can come up with. Apparently it comes with its own image and music editor, and its own graphical scripting language.
I remember these from the election, but never saw a game related one till now.
It would be cool if he came up every time the player died.
By the? underground, for the underground. This was made anonymously for the love of the sport and its ability to touch the whole world, if but for just a moment. Football, soccer, whatever - a rose by any other name would smell as sweet - no organization, no nation, no flag can overshadow its grace. It is all about our love for the Beautiful Game.

Why can't all video gaming be this extreme? I don't know much about F1 Simulators. But, man. The video below sure makes me want one.
Well, the site does say video games and 'technology'. Looking for information on the Sprint Evo HTC 4G being released this Friday, I found this overview of the phone and something I didn't expect: humor.
pretty hard. I can't beat this game.
I have no idea what this group is, other than I saw it in my Facebook feed. Sasha?
From the makers of Aquaria, this is their next game.
Zuck Farmville? Rather than end its strained relationship with Facebook, social-gaming outfit Zynga has opted to formalize it. This morning, the company, which had been rumored to be reconsidering its dependence on the popular social network, said it has entered into a five-year strategic relationship with it instead.
FarmVille's Lead Designer Mark Skaggs talks to us about how they use time-based gameplay to design their games - for people who want to play at work (which EVERYONE at my last job did) and people who want to play when they get up, or people who want to play a little before they go to sleep. Genius.
Confessions of an Online Scrabble Cheat This article from back in the days Scrabulous was rocking Facebook is a poignant exposé on the ethical dilemma bad Scrabblers face whilst using WORD GENERATORS!!!
Some say Nigel Richards is to SCRABBLE what Garry Kasparov is to chess, but that doesn't make him perfect.
I don't know about anyone else but Im so excited for this massive online multiplayer game. The potential here is endless.
You could loop this song all day and it would still not be enough. One of the mostrecognizable songs in games.
Just sad to see this. I was really hyped for this game but these load times are a deal breaker. It takes so long to just get to a race and loading any particular races averages to about a minute? No thanks. ;_;
Ever wonder what the most efficient method is for resource gathering in SC2? Yeah, me neither. But someone has come up with a nifty chart that displays how many workers you should have until you start seeing diminishing returns. Serious business these games are.
Just got finished playing Just Cause 2, a fairly new title developed by Eidos & Avalanche. I was fairly skeptical of it due to the 81 metascore on metacritic, but decided to rent it with Gamefly. At first, I was pretty turned off due to the highly repetitive missions (HIGHLY), but after exploring the vast world, I realized it offered so much more.
She says that she's going to "smoke your ass" a lot, so you might want to turn the volume down at work. Aisha Tyler, former host of Talk Soup, avid gamer, walks you through a bunch of the new maps, games, and weapons for the new Halo Beta. Via markflar a la Joystiq.
This is great! Play Super Mario Bros as a bunch of other NES characters. Yo...JD where's your game?
