When you're looking at a site with a lot of links to images, it can get really old having to open each one individually. Not to mention loading so many pages can take forever.
This may be an old trick, but it is still very useful. Head.js proudly proclaims that it is the only script you need in your head. You can use it to parallel load all your scripts. This is much faster than loading them one by one.

This is a really quick video I took of a moonrise last year. It has been sped up by a factor of 8 and was taken using a 2600 mm equivalent lens (75 times zoom for a 35 mm lens). The mountain it is rising over is about 40 miles away.
Vladimir Bulatov makes sculptures of fantastic variations on polyhedra and other geometric objects. His site is full of incredible metal, glass, and wooden geometric sculptures, including a full section on pendants and bracelets. New York based studio softlab's latest installation "(n)arcissus" is an eye-bending site specific installation currently on display at the Frankfurter Kunstverein art center in Frankfurt, Germany.
