These are a few examples of my latest craze. It is basically a 3d weave of cocktail sticks—just lots of them. I have made them from chopsticks and skewers as well, but have given those as presents and don't have any pictures.
Continuing the theme of "Let's get a bunch of achievements on the 'Halo' level", the 'No Fly Zone' achievement should be cake for seasoned Halo veterans. All you do is destroy three out of four banshees on the level "Halo", as demonstrated by the Achievement Hunters below.
I'm new here, but wanted to add formufit to the list of links on your cork board. They are solely sellers of structural PVC items, used to build greenhouses and such. I am currently building some outdoor PVC furniture as the weather here in Missouri has destroyed our previous 'durable store bought' furniture. I saw some other resources on here, but I just bought a slew of products from formufit.com and I thought I would share. I will post some photos of the completed furniture soon.
PVC isn't something you want to send to the landfill. It's not going to do anything good for the ground when it's buried. It is also something you really, REALLY don't want to send to an incinerator. When burned, PVC releases some really nasty chemicals, including hydrochloric acid and dioxin.

Yesterday I had an order for one lonely Bubble Bath Cup Cake to be sent to California. The poor little thing may not make it. Temperatures are as high as 110 degrees and I am not sure this little cup cake will make it.
It turns out that the silver crinkly material traditionally used for wrapping leftovers and making funny hats to block out messages from extraterrestrial beings is pretty darn useful for a number of other random but handy tasks, such as sharpening your scissors and keeping bugs away from your vegetable garden. It was 5:30 AM when the bus I'm on passed by Gohotels when we noticed the road become like a huge river. I asked myself if it rained (Ondoy memories are still fresh) but everything was dry except the highway which was flooded with water almost knee deep.
I am missing those times when I get to go to the fishmongers @ the beach in our home town. You get to buy the freshest and the latest catch from the local fishermen. And whats more, you get it cheaper than anywhere on the planet. Even at the lowest price you can still haggle to go lower where at some point the fishmongers would give some extra fish just so you would buy again from them.

So the Canon 5d mkII, iirc, can shoot video that looks like 35mm film, due to its huge sensor and ability to use all of the Canon still lenses. The Canon XH-A1 can't do that. The Casio Exilim ex-f1 can shoot up to 1200 fps looking... ok well not so hot but seems to look good at slightly less fast framerates, letting moms and dads shoot slo-mo video in their backyards.
