The mike flag (or mic flag) is that box that surrounds the microphone and has the call letters of your tv station or network. ABC, or Fox, or Ch 5 is the typical type of lettering. (Its origins seem to be from the early days of radio: call letters were not required for an audio-medium except for requisite publicity shots.) Occasionally a triangular shape ...
In this video, Dr. Mike tells us how to tell if your dog has a urinary tract infection. The signs of this infection include: frequent urination, blood in urine, pain urinating, and drinking more water. To diagnose this, it's always important to get a urine sample to properly diagnose the infection. You can either bring this sample into the vet, or have them take one straight from the bladder. If this isn't taken care of early, the bacteria in the bladder will cause bladder stones, which requi...

While digital samplers have their merits, they're predictable in a way that can cause them to sound stiff or sterile. The solution? A return to the analog, tape-based samplers of yesteryear, which, with their inherent mechanical noise and euphonic distortions, offer a more musical take on the sampling process.

I found adding a little olive oil into the cornstarch mix makes it easier to handle, and contributes to th...
Big fan of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Spec-Ops mode? Then boy do I have the achievement guide for you. In what looks to be a pretty tough to get achievement to get, 'Serrated Edge' asks of you to take down a Juggernaut with your knife. Luckily, you're allowed to use as many flash grenades and pump him with as much lead as possible, as long as the final blow is with your knife.

If you're a good shot, this is the achievement for you. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the "Back to the Grid" level, you gain access to a mortar to hold off a few waves of enemies. But the trick to getting the achievement and 20G, or bronze trophy if you're on PlayStation 3, is to take out all of the bad guys using only four shells.
