Now how's that for alliteration? WOO! Anyway, this has already made the rounds, but if you haven't seen it yet, check this out. When you take a low-slung four wheel bike frame, a crap load of PVC pipe, miles of duct tape and about 1,000 hours, you, too can drive a Porsche without the high insurance payments.
Mojang needs just 5,000 more votes for LEGO to review the possibility of making Minecraft LEGOs. Even though Mojang and CUUSOO (LEGOs development branch) have communicated already about the possibility of Minecraft LEGOs, a little support from the community could go a long way.
Welcome to Minecraft World! Check out our advanced tutorials and come play on our free server. No self-respecting Minecraft house is complete without a state of the art automatic cobblestone generator. But what does the average Minecrafter need with a bunch of cobblestone? To put it simply, sometimes you just need a bunch of blocks. I cannot tell you how many times I have been in the midst of a trap, animal pen, or basement only to find myself short on the second most common block of them all.
I spent the holiday weekend becoming fluent in the basics of modular origami. With practice, you can churn out the below models surprisingly quickly.
Minecraftian is a beautiful and lengthy machinima made using Minecraft; dubbed the 'first full feature Minecraft Film'. The movie has everything a great movie needs: strong editing, beautiful music, and Minecraft itself.
Today, I'm dedicating to the Assassin's Creed fans out there. Yesterday saw the release of the latest in the series, Assassin's Creed: Revelations. In honor of that release, we here at Achievement Arcade would like to give the fans every advantage you can get.
It's another Monday, which means once again, it's time to highlight some of the recent community submissions posted to the Math Craft corkboard. Additionally, I thought we'd take a look at the Mobius Strip.

As WonderHowTo staff, I'm disqualified from winning... so I'm pulling a Cory ;) and posting a few images. These were taken over the summer during my trip to Bali. The culture and landscape were so beautiful, almost every shot I got had beautiful color.
I'm new here, but wanted to add formufit to the list of links on your cork board. They are solely sellers of structural PVC items, used to build greenhouses and such. I am currently building some outdoor PVC furniture as the weather here in Missouri has destroyed our previous 'durable store bought' furniture. I saw some other resources on here, but I just bought a slew of products from formufit.com and I thought I would share. I will post some photos of the completed furniture soon.
I built this the other day from those weird gear plans from Clayton Boyer.
Have you guys seen this yet? Ben Purdy used projection mapping to create a "real life" Minecraft block. If you don't know what projection mapping is, it works like this:
In a gesture to bring the social qualities of Google+ into the real world, photographer +Trey Ratcliff invited his Google+ followers to join him on a photowalk this past Thursday, held on the Stanford University campus. Over 150 people showed up to take pictures with fellow Googlers and Google+ users, and to socialize in "real life". This group photo was taken by professional photographer +Peter Adams.
Confirmed! Those of you who have been waiting (or dreading) the announcement of social games in Google+ can now look forward to them showing up in your stream. The anticipated games have yet to show up, but Google has confirmed that APIs will be made available for third party developers to access Google+, much like Facebook allows them.
Those persistent alien beings from Space Invaders have finally abandoned the confines of their video game quarters, setting their crab-like eyes on the destruction of Earth. And it's up to one man to save the fate of human kind as we know it—Jeremiah Warren. Equipped with his trusty Atari CX-40 joystick, the lonesome savior battles the descending alien invaders, destroying them one by one with his laser cannon, right from his own bedroom window. See the battle below. The filming took about th...
Not since JC de Castelbajac's infectiously fun LEGO fashion line have I seen such energetic geek-inspired ware. Japanese designer Kunihiko Morinaga pays homage to ye olde 8-bit days with his extensive catwalk of video game inspired womenswear—ranging from dresses to suits to streetwear. The pixel-printed Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection debuted during Tokyo Fashion Week under his label Anrealage. Not only did the models don classic pixel prints, but they also strutted to a live pianist perfor...
Revitalize your computer experience with something new and eccentric, possibly even more comfortable—a felt computer mouse.

Our hacked Kinect series has demonstrated amply how the Kinect is changing the worlds of business, art, medicine and robotics. But where does it go from here? That will be determined by the thousands of dedicated DIYers out there doing work like you've seen here over the last week.
It was 5:30 AM when the bus I'm on passed by Gohotels when we noticed the road become like a huge river. I asked myself if it rained (Ondoy memories are still fresh) but everything was dry except the highway which was flooded with water almost knee deep.
Wow... look at those cash..Congratulations to the designers of the new Philippine Peso currency. Although only a small portion printed are in circulation I finally saw them thru a friend. They really look nice.. And so good to look at..Except for one major thing. The value didn't change. New look same value. For which I don't know how this could help alleviate the growing hunger of the Filipino people.I just wish our economy grows sooner.
These pictures was taken on the bus during my ride going home from work. My heart reaches out to them, Street children who cannot afford to buy food. Who resort to sniffing solvent fumes just to forget hunger and the harsh reality of life.I just wish I could something for them. I saw them on the sidewalk near SM Makati under MRT Ayala Station.
Jiiang Chen and Yang Junlin, of the Wing Wah metalcraft factory in Huizhou, China, forged together a 10,000-pound replica of the Megatron tank as seen in the movie Transformers 2. The tank is from a series of other massive works from the company's "Legend of Iron" project (see last year's insane Megatron below). The tank was assembled and welded together with mostly scrap metal by the two expert craftsmen. In a word... insane.
If you've yet to stumble across Photojojo, it's an awesomely addictive web newsletter for all photography junkies. I'm especially loving their recent photorealistic gadget pouch project because the finished product looks incredibly pro and as Photojojo keenly comments, "We’ve been seeing these little pouches in hipster gift stores that look like tacos, cassette tapes, pizza, etc. And we thought, 'That’s so easy, we could totally make those ourselves!'” Right on. The project is indeed easy to ...

Watch surfer Mark Visser take on a 30-40 foot massive wave off the famous Jaws reef break on Maui in nearly total darkness. Guided only by the LED lights built into his life vest and board, helicopters hovered overhead, filming the event. "It wasn’t until I saw the pictures I realized how big it was. This project has been two years in the planning and it was the scariest, but most exciting thing I have ever done. Riding in complete darkness meant I had to go off feeling. I had to zone out fro...
Do 3D glasses give you a headache? This might hurt more. As in, I think I'm going to hurl just watching. Below, Francois Vogel demonstrates his rapid eye blinking method for 3D viewing. ...as if the electrodes on his temples could stimulate his eyelids to open and close in alternating synchronization with the refresh rate of the monitor! View more vomit-inducing 3D viewing, sans the glasses.
Installing a T Mold Transition Between Laminate and Ceramic Tile There are several different types of laminate transitions that you may need when installing laminate flooring. Each one is used specifically for where the laminate flooring ends, such as where the laminate stops at ceramic tile. Other transitions are used where the laminate ends at carpet, vinyl flooring, a threshold or a step down such as a sunken living room or stairs.
We've seen a few snapshots and a handful of blurry videos, but the latest leaked footage of the hyped Sony Ericsson Xperia PlayStation phone demonstrates the playing of Resident Evil 2 and Rage Racer.
I know hollywood has no original ideas, but its amazing how quick things get stolen. Rubber Johnny a really creepy video by Chris Cunningham was totally stolen by the Hills Have Eyes, which I only recently saw.
OMG! This Etsy Shop (SugarMohawk) must have been on a total sugar high when coming up with these recipes. How yummy do all of these cool concoctions look? Check out all the crazy combos that I bet you have never seen before. These could definitely be the hit at your next kiddie event! Nerds, Cotton Candy, Red Velvet, chocolate-what’s not to love! Sugar Jaw Melt Swirls which are cotton candy balls dipped in chocolate. Candied apples with a sprinkle twist. Sweet donut holes stuffed with blackbe...
Ever wonder what you look like to someone else as you walk, talk? How it looks from above, behind, or to the side? Seeing yourself in a video flattens the experience into two dimensions, but this wireless camera rig experiment from Instructables member BigRedRocket brings it into the third dimension:
Lori Nix's teeny, tiny, incredibly laborious, detail-oriented dioramas are, in a word, insane. We've seen an amazing diorama or two... but these are eerily obsessive. And creepy- all the spaces are depressed, abandoned, and in terrible disrepair.
This is just a comment but I'd like really much if u take it as an advice too
What was your first experience with Kinect? Mine was through my friend Robert. (He's in the blue shirt above.) I was over at his place, and he and his girlfriend had just gotten a Kinect. After much futzing with the Kinect because it kept falling off their flatscreen TV, they finally got it to stay.
Screw gaming, let's get to the serious stuff! Here's an amazing video of a Kinect hack that lets one see what its camera sees - in 3D.
MIT students get to have all the fun... Mike Nawrot and Romain Teil constructed their fully-functional, homemade wooden roller coaster in just two weeks, aptly named the Reverse Cowgirl. We've seen lots of thrill-seeking backyard contraptions, but this one imprisons the rider in a freaky vertical position:
