Every Modern Warfare game has had bits of enemy intel for you to recover, and they're always hidden within the level. The few pieces I've uncovered across the series has always been through dumb luck. But if you want that 'Scout Leader' achievement, you'll have to find all 46 pieces of intel throughout the entire single player campaign.
To understand how mind-blowing this achievement is for me, it should be known that Metal Gear Solid 2 is one of my favorite games ever made. Like, in the history of video games, this is probably my second favorite game of all time. I know every where secret, item, and Easter egg is in this game. So when I saw the footage for this achievement in the video below, you'll understand why I screamed like a girl.
By now, most of you have updated to the new Xbox look. Just as expected, it's got some great new features. The dashboard looks great and Bing integration is awesome, but I'm very unhappy about the new Netflix interface. It's awkward, slow, and half of the items don't even load correctly. I can't even play some movies. And the instant play feature is kind of annoying. When I first chose a video, I was hoping when it instantly started playing that it was a trailer, à la Zune. Alas, no.
This has to be one of the most heartbreaking achievements to get in any game. In Batman: Arkham City, there's an area of the city where you can visit the place where Bruce Wayne's parents died. Not only do you have to go to the alleyway and see the chalk outline, but to get the achievement, you have to watch Batman bend over and mourn for a full minute. During that time, you get a real sense of who this dude is: a lonely guy trying to do the right thing.

The latest in the Legend of Zelda series, Skyward Sword, released a few short weeks ago to very little fanfare. I have no idea why that is, because the game is absolutely gorgeous and pretty darn good. This was one of the most difficult achievements for me to get in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Mostly because I was never able to do something horrible enough to warrant a 1000 gold bounty. However, pms00 has a great video tutorial showing the easiest way to get the 'Master Criminal' achievement, which requires you to hold a bounty of at least 1000 gold in all nine cities in Skyrim.
Are you a member of the Thieves Guild in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? Then this is the achievement guide for you. After you complete the main Thieves Guild quest-line (which is freaking awesome, by the way), you'll be asked to take on special missions. To initiate those, talk to Melvin or Vex in the Thieves Guild headquarters in Rifiten. These small jobs are scattered across the four main cities of Skyrim: Whiterun, Markarth, Solitude, and Windhelm.

Alec Baldwin loves word games? Enough to get kicked off an airplane? Apparently. Yesterday, while sitting in first class on his American Airlines flight back to New York from LAX, a flight attendant "reamed" him off the plane for playing the popular Scrabble clone, Words with Friends, and not turning off his phone and obeying signs requiring seat beats. This looks like a nice little challenge for any Assassin's Creed: Revelations players out there. To get the 'Lightning Strike' achievement, you need to take out five guards in five seconds or less using your hidden blades.
Here's a tougher achievement for you guys to get in Battlefield 3. In the level "Thunder Run", you take control of a big friggin' tank. Use it to take down six enemy tanks before you reach the fort, and you'll get 25G on Xbox 360, or a bronze trophy on PlayStation 3.
Here's an easy one for you Battlefield 3 fans out there. This is the achievement 'Twofor', and it's the easiest 15G, or bronze trophy you could ever get. Load up the level Night Shift, and you'll see two guards standing right next to each other. All you need to do is take them both out with one shot. It's that easy!
Here's another great achievement tutorial for Battlefield 3. This one is for 'The Professional', which you get on the level "Comrades". What it asks of you is to complete the street chase in under 2 minutes 30 seconds. Seems easy enough. But if you take in to account all of the bad guys that stand in your way, suddenly the challenge went way up.
Trying to get all the achievements in Battlefield 3's single player campaign? You'll go nowhere without this handy guide to getting the poorly named 'Butterfly' achievement. Basically, you have to shoot down a plane on your first attempt with a Stinger missile on the level "Rock and a Hard Place". Seems easy, right?
I finally got around to making the pentakis dodecahedron from the instructions in Math Craft admin Cory Poole's blog post. It's not tightened/straightened up yet because I just noticed that I have two black and white and two blue and green compound modules next to each other (but no purple and pink modules next to each other—to the math experts, this is a parity thing, as you can only have even numbers of modules paired up next to each other).

Using an analog camera to create multiple exposures is a technique that has long been in practice throughout the history of photography. Pressing the shutter button twice will superimpose the exposure of two different images onto the same piece of film. Sometimes done in an artistic manner, sometimes by accident—you never know what you'll get until you develop your roll of film.
