Watch out Instagram, there's a new free, sociable photography filter app that hit the iTunes App Store recently, and it just might be some good competition. It's called PicYou and might sound familiar to some of you photo sharing fiends out there. That's because it's been a successful web-based alternative to Instagram for about six months now.
I spent a little bit more time making 6 sided Kirigami Snowflakes using the method of this post. I'm really happy with how all of these turned out. I'd love to see other people post up some snowflakes. They're easy and a lot of fun. And I could use some more inspiration!

I entered the 2009 Crash the Superbowl Contest with this entry. It was a tremendous amount of fun to make. The fractal dorito was made from about 75 lbs worth of tortilla chips (about 12000 chips total) and was 64 ft on a side.
It's still a work in progress, says Notch but here it is, a proper video of dragons in Minecraft. Notch also somewhat hinted that they would be compatible in SMP!! Time to go make a band of dragon slayers!

Like Rachel, I cannot win this week's challenge, but I thought it would be fun to post a picture I took with my iPhone. Actually, I'm not a big fan of taking pics with my smartphone—I rarely do it. But I didn't happen to have my real camera on me when taking a stroll through Bubblegum Alley in San Luis Obispo. This is the only image I ended up snapping with my iPhone.
