Sit back grad some popcorn and learn how to remove the drain stopper, or plunger from your bathtub, so that you can replace it, or remove a hair clog.
LG dropped hints of its upcoming successor to the original G Watch last week, and today at IFA 2014 they pulled the curtain off the G Watch R. For fans of Sesame Street, "R" is for "Round," and this circular design was most likely inspired by all of the buzz surrounding the Moto 360.
This is for people who are already proficient at doing basic pull-ups and chin-ups and want to take their training to the next level. It's also pretty funny for anyone who enjoys a bit of gym humor.
Yesterday, I was halfway through a recipe when I realized it called for puréed tomatoes, and all I had was diced. I definitely wasn't going to abandon ship and start over on something else, but I didn't want my sauce to have the wrong texture, either. So, I did a quick search and found that I could use my metal sieve to purée the tomatoes.
Here's my latest armor tutorial...what I call the "Demon Hand". The method used in this tutorial can be used to create pretty much any armor. This one is is 18 gauge brass, but if you use stainless steel I suggest 20 or 22 gauge. This is the easiest of all of my gauntlets to create, and it takes a lot less metal. Less than an 8.5" x 11" piece (per hand). Would make cool motorcycle riding gloves!
It may finally be dying down a bit, but there are still plenty of cat lovers addicted to Grumpy Cat, who has surpassed her internet meme stardom to move onto books, calendars, and even a soon-to-be film. For those of you who just can't get enough of the crotchety-faced Tardar Sauce, make this Christmas a Grumpy Christmas with this free printable paper ornament of Grumpy Cat.
If you're undecided on a Halloween costume, embrace your indecisiveness with a split personality Two-Face look, or go one better as an amalgamation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the epitome of multiple personality disorder. Or, you could literally give yourself another face, which is pretty much what German artist Sebastian Bieniek did in his recent DoubleFaced series. They're like a long-lost Picasso painting of conjoined twins on a living face, and in some cases, conjoined triplets. You can s...
At one point in the '90s, about fifty percent of the CDs produced worldwide had an AOL logo. About fifty percent of the CDs in my home still have that AOL promise of 500 free hours on them. Though they never got me to join their internet service, I did get a lifetime supply of coasters. Thanks to the rise of high-speed internet access and bigger and better hard drives, there's no reason for companies to snail mail any more of those obnoxious plastic discs.
First of all I am glad that I was able to find this website and become part of it. So far I love it. Recently Playstation created a competition where a person has to show how online gaming is good. Pretty simple right? You can enter with an image or a video, however I do not think that an image can really show the fun of online gaming. I have created a video which does show some of the good parts of online gaming and I also tried to keep it fun. I would really appreciate if you would have a l...
Today is Friday, and I cannot wait to sit back and crack open a nice cool Smirnoff Ice when I get home. If you lost respect for me after that statement, you have only gained mine.
If you enjoy merking baddies in BioShock: Infinite, then this achievement (aka trophy) should be a pretty fun one to go after. The "Industrial Accident" achievement is unlocked after killing 20 enemies with the Skyhook. In order to perform a Skyhook kill, you will need your enemy to be at low health and then press Y on the Xbox 360, Triangle on the PS3, and Space on the PC. It has been suggested to complete this achievement earlier on in the game since the enemies will naturally be a little e...
Shoulder mounts are great for stability, but they can be pretty pricey. This DIY project by TheJamesTheatre is better in both aspects—it rests on both shoulders for extra stability, and it only costs 8 bucks to make. The frame is made of PVC with foam pieces from a pool noodle for cushion. All you need is a few connectors and the nuts and bolts to put it all together. You can find the full parts list on the About section on YouTube.
We've all seen the classic tornado-in-a-bottle science experiment, which uses 2 two-liter bottles to create a whirlpool effect. This version requires you to get the tornado started yourself by spinning the bottles, but what if you want to make it fully automated?
In the papercraft world, nothing is beyond its reach. Anything from a Rolex watch to PSY doing his famous Gangnam Style horse dance has been converted to papercraft. That's great and all, but what if you want to make your own custom papercraft? Foldify, which releases next week in the iTunes App Store for the iPad, allows users to create their own custom foldable papercrafts in real time 3D.
Haven't found all of the hidden Easter eggs in Call of Duty: Blacks Op 2 yet? Then the one you're probably missing is this one in Zombie mode, which is a pretty cool shout to Skrillex, whose music seems to fit in quite well with all of those zombies running around.
Is rooting your Android device right for you? Well, in order to answer that question, we need to get a better understanding of what rooting is and why exactly so many modders choose to root their smartphones and tablets.
Have any Star Wars fanatics in your family? Well, here's a great Christmas gift idea for those Star Wars fans who think they have everything... a freaking LEVITATING DEATH STAR!
This goes out to all of the Tweeters out there looking to get a little more creative with their Twitter accounts. My page has always been extremely basic, because I just never bothered to pretty it up. I just had one of the stock backgrounds and the good ole Sacramento Kings logo for my profile pic. So, if you want to add your own cool photos and backgrounds to your account, the folks over at Twitter made this funny cartoon video just for you. It's not the most complicated of tasks, and every...
Here's a great excuse to play with your food—and learn some math while you're at it. We've all seen a hexaflexagon folded out of paper, but how about a burrito? Vi Hart, a "mathmusician" over at the Khan Academy, came up with the Flex Mex, a burrito folded into a hexaflexagon with all the toppings inside. The spreadable ingredients (guacamole, sour cream and salsa) go inside the folds, then it's topped with beans and cheese.
Keeping your computer organized and your desktop clutter-free can be pretty difficult. And with last week's official release of Windows 8, users have another screen they need to get used to organizing—the new Metro-style Start Screen. It uses large rectangular or square tiles in place of the standard icons you've seen on older Windows operating systems. For better organization and grouping, you can group similar items onto a page (similar to many smartphones), you increase or decrease the siz...
Windows 8 comes with a bunch of new features, and none may be cooler than the new Picture Password option. If you're tired of the old lock screen and login options, or don't want to remember any more passwords, than you'll like this great new addition to Windows.
With just sticks, some magnets, and a bit of Sugru, you too can be the proud owner of an awesome set of magnetic construction toys! The idea is very straightforward. Simply bond magnets onto the tips of thin sticks using Sugru, but the results look like a whole lot of fun.
Cotton candy is a treat generally reserved for carnivals, fairs, and other events that don't come around often enough. Through some clever construction and about $45 in materials though, you can have all the sugary substance you could ever want with this awesome DIY cotton candy machine. All you'll need to construct your own are two dollar store stainless steel bowls, a fan motor, a few odd screws and bolts, a drill, and a propane torch. Check out the tutorial video below. As an added bonus, ...
This is a cool little trap that me and some friends came up with while messing around with TNT and redstone on a big platform in the sky. The reason we called it the 'Roof Lever Trap' is because it utilizes the ability to place levers on the bottom side of blocks, which was introduced in Minecraft 1.3.1.
Even in the MP3 world, vinyl is still king among music lovers. Unfortunately, making your own record is nowhere near as simple as burning a compact disc or throwing some files onto an MP3 player. One clever inventor isn't letting that stop him though, putting together his own homemade vinyl cutter out of old parts. The end result—CD records!
Today, books in PDF are quickly accessible on the Internet, whether free or paid. You can easily read them on your computer or mobile device, but some still enjoy a printed version they can hold in their hands. Printing PDF volumes is a quick and easy task, but the only problem is binding them into a sturdy book, especially when they're pretty thick.
Being a male, I may be the only one among my gender stating this, but I'm sick of girls using Halloween as an excuse to dress scantily. Why can't more girls skip the playboy bunny costume and get this gnarly? Below, ten badass Halloween looks executed by girls only...
When using Group FaceTime with more than a handful of people, all of those participants in one chat can be difficult to follow. That's why Apple automatically enlarges the tiles for people who are currently speaking, bringing them into the forefront. However, all of that zooming in and out can get pretty distracting, and now there's a way to disable it whenever you need to.
One of Android's biggest strengths relative to iOS is how simple it is to sideload apps that aren't on the official app store. Rather than having to sign IPA files or tell your phone you trust a developer every two weeks, you can just enable a setting and be done with it.
Another day, another beta, right? Well, that's not always the case. Apple can be pretty inconsistent when it comes to beta releases. In the past, a beta release once every two weeks was pretty much guaranteed. Nowadays, these updates can come at any time. Consider today's release, iOS 13.2 developer beta 4, which comes one week after the release of dev beta 3.
What if you could combine the fun of Halloween with the process of learning? Well, if you were wise enough to have already snagged a Magic Leap One device, we have good news: the app you're looking for is here, and it's called Zombie Math.

Any little bit of new light shed on Apple's rumored augmented reality plans is irresistible, and the latest comes from a fairly powerful source — a former Apple engineer who worked on the iPhone.
While we shouldn't rely on it, every so often we need to hit the snooze button to get a few additional minutes of precious sleep. Depending on which OEM skin is running on your device, this could be either five or ten extra minutes of dozing. However, some of us need a different length of time.
While you were busy browsing Instagram, composing tweets, or chasing Snapchat updates, an eight-year-old ARKit developer was hard at work on her first step toward taking over the tech world via augmented reality.

WhatsApp comes with a ton of great features that make it the go-to messaging app for millions of people around the world. Among these is the ingeniously simple Read Receipts that let you know your message has been viewed. If you want to read a message without alerting the sender, however, there are simple tricks you can perform to give yourself plausible deniability.
We already know that the connection between virtual and augmented reality is pretty tight, with tools like Unity making porting some apps between the two platforms fairly frictionless. But there are some things currently going in VR that just don't need to come to the world of AR.
Cuphead may have taken the indie gaming scene by storm, but its "introduction" to the iOS App Store is what everyone in the smartphone world is talking about. There is no official Cuphead game available for iPhone, and that's what is so surprising — a fake version was approved and released for iOS devices, and at this scale, incidents like this just don't happen for Apple.
