Number One and Number Two Go 3DSet up a platform, just wide enough for someone to stand on, about ten feet in the air. This is our jousting area. You know, the kind of jousting with the giant Q-tips. Too make things worse, on the ground surrounding this jousting match are Knoxville and the rest of the crew with water guns filled with pee. One of the most annoying things about toilets, is the equipment inside can wear out and produce weird noises. This is caused by a variety of reasons, but most of the time it's because of the toilet flapper valve. Sometimes the simplest moves produce the greatest results. Take FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi's drag-back, which is nothing more than pushing the ball out in front of you before dragging it back and turning 180° to face the way from where you came. After you do this, you just bring the ball around with your other foot and accelerate away from your opponent.

Nikola Tesla. He was the man behind some of the greatest inventions of all time, including radio and alternating current. But perhaps his most visually fascinating invention is the Tesla coil. While maintaining a low current, it can produce dangerous high frequencies and voltages that can well exceed 1,000,000 volts, discharging it in the form of electrical arcs very similar to lightning.

As a kid, my favorite thing to do at the Natural History museum was a midday stop, when my family strolled past an antiquated looking vending machine in the museum's musty basement. The Mold-A-Rama machine was oddly shaped, George Jetson-esque, and spewed out made-to-order, brightly colored plastic dinosaurs. There was such joy in watching the liquid wax pour into the mold, and then eject a warm, custom toy—well worth the dollar or two demanded. A version of this tradition was recently elevat...
A group of nano-scientists from the University of Glasgow have created the world's smallest Christmas card, measuring in at 200 micro-meters wide by 290 micro-meters tall. (BTW, a micro-metre is a millionth of a meter, and the width of a human hair is about 100 micro-meters.)

One of the things that has always bugged me while working with PVC is that it is, as it is presently produced, a poison. Well, OK, it's not, but it contains a lot of poisons. Phthalates are plasticizing agents that are super toxic, and these people are working to phase them out. PVC also, in its present form, contains lead.
