Silencing my phone always gives me mild anxiety; while my Android is muted, my girlfriend or boss may be trying to reach me with some urgent news or task. On the one hand, I want to enjoy some peace and quiet, but on the other, I don't want to come back to a phone with 100 missed calls and countless exclamatory texts.

You've seen it a million times. You try to do something on your Android device and a box pops up asking you which app you'd like to use. You could try Photos, Gallery, Drive, Picasa Web Albums...the list is fairly extensive sometimes. And what's worse, after that you have to select "Always" or "Just once". Add it all up, and that's three taps to do something you thought would take just one!

You can fix a frozen iPod fairly quick. All you have to do is hold the menu and action buttons until your screen goes black. The top button on the click wheel is the menu button and it says menu. The button in the center of the click wheel is the action button. When you hold both of those buttons the screen goes black after a few seconds. What it is actually doing is restarting the iPod.
