For most thrill-seekers, skydiving alone is an adrenaline rush worth experiencing only once, but for the death-defying, elite skydiver, the wingsuit is the next step in daring midair adventures. But thankfully, we people who like our feet planted on the ground can enjoy the thrill ride via our flatscreens, due to some fearless cinematography from the daredevils themselves. And though there is no shortage of awesome skydiving footage on the web, there is a shortage of camera angles, with most ...
Playboy on iDevice has historically been a big letdown for fans; in order to meet the Apple store "morality" demands, the app offers no nudity, and poorly rated features to boot. But times are changing. Previously stumped on how to circumvent Steve Jobs' puritanism, Heffner and team have now found an alternative to providing loyal Playboy/Apple lovers with a high tech, digital option for browsing.
From Fox News, the Marquis Los Cabos resort in Baja California Sur, Mexico is now offering a $1,000 Popsicle made from 24 ct. gold flakes and Tequilas Premium Clase Azul Ultra—a premium liquor that goes for $1,500 a bottle. You can enjoy the gold-laced ice pop as you're lounging by the pool.
These are classic stuffed mushrooms with a luxurious twist! This time I'm using Portabello mushrooms with fresh pesto, tomatoes, and a quail egg on top.
Ingredients Needed: 1 box Chicken Helper Italian Fettuccine Alfredo
My friend started a minecraft world yesterday (The World in the Air, Seed -1784338777788894343) As anyone would do, he punched trees, then made a little "house" to wait out the night. As any minecrafter WOULDN'T do, he went outside. In the dark. At night. Luckily he wasn't full of holes by the time he went back inside his "house".
Tired of getting calluses from incessantly strumming along to 'No Woman No Cry'? Just hook up to the brain-music system and use your brain power to play a tune instead. I'm not talking—humming along in your head. The machine, created by composer and computer-music specialist Eduardo Miranda of the University of Plymouth, UK, is composed of electrodes taped directly onto your skull that pick up tiny electrical impulses from neurons in your brain and translates them into musical rhythms on a co...
Okay, look behind your shoulder. Now check behind the other. Anybody looking? No? Then read on... Here's the scenario: You're single. You're an avid Facebooker. You're tired of your sans hottie reputation, and you're yearning for some much needed street cred. Well, Facebook street cred.

How far would you go to be resourceful? Early Britons used each others' skulls as drinking cups and bowls. Recently, researcher Silvia Bello found human skulls with the top cut off laying in Gough's Cave, England. Skillful cut marks make it look like fellow humans scraped off the dead skin to clean the bone, and chips around the rim of the skull cup make it look like the edges were evened out for a better drinking experience. Researchers have found other skull cups in France and Germany, but ...
As the users and potential BF3 buyers enjoyed the astounding effects of the next Battlefield installment, one of Infiniti Ward's creative strategist Robert Bowling tweeted that building a new game engine for CoD Modern Warfare 3 would be "counter productive."
The Lost Thing is a lovely short written by Shaun Tan and co-directed by Tan and Andrew Ruhemann (executive producer of the fantastic doc My Kid Could Paint That). Based on the award-winning children’s book of the same title (also by Tan), the piece was created over a span of eight years(!) using a mix of CGI and 2D handpainted elements. Tan, whose background is in painting, spent much of the duration "carefully building, texturing and lighting of digitial elements to create a unique aestheti...

The joys of summer are many! If you, like me, live in a place where the summer is short, you’re going to want to maximize your fun in the sun by doing as many awesome things as possible before the sun goes back to wherever the hell it hibernates during the cold and dark times. The most important ingredients for fun in the sun are friends and…well…the sun, so you can do almost anything with a group of exciting creative people, but here are my favorite el cheapo activities for summer.
This is an amazing resource put together by the Monterey Bay Aquarium called "Seafood Watch". You can look up any type of seafood on their website, and they will tell you whether that seafood is good for your body and for the environment!

WonderHowTo loves gadgets. We also tend to enjoy getting our hands (just a little bit) dirty. So, naturally, Brando's Wall Hook Coat Hanger Camcorder is the latest gadget to excite. Disguised as a coat hanger, the device is actually a camera triggered by motion detection. And paired with the see-all glass doorknob, your significant other ain't getting away with nothing...
On last week's Gizmodo Shooting Challenge, submittors were challenged to create photos that could be seen in 3D, simply by refocusing the eyes to merge two appropriately placed white dots.
Well, Ol' Man Winter is upon us yet again, blasting us with his icy breath. When I was a kid, I loved wintertime because it meant the prospect of sledding, snowball fights & missed school days in which to enjoy both. Now that I'm 45, however, my attitude toward the season has taken a complete 180-degree turn: I find myself dreading it because of the likelihood of being snowed-in for days on end, and the certainty of being forced to endure the frigid temperatures.
In January of this year, I went to Kuwait with director Fawaz Al-Matrouk to complete photography for the film "To Rest In Peace". We shot the majority of the film in Southern California, duping air force bases, homes, and beaches for authentic Kuwaiti locations. Because traveling was a significant theme for the film, we went to the small, nearly deserted island of Failaka (about 20km off the mainland). Captured by the Iraqi army and deserted by its citizens almost 20 years ago, this island wa...
White criminal Conrad Zdzierak has committed the ultimate crime of racial stereotyping, plus multiple counts of aggravated robbery after robbing four banks and a CVS pharmacy. The robberies took place on April 9th of this year, but Zdzierak wasn't caught until now, thanks to an incredibly realistic, $650 silicon mask named “The Player”.
Here's something that I use to boost the stove top type stuffing mix. With Thanksgiving approaching, I thought I'd share it. The mix is often as cheap as the croutons for stuffing and it already has pretty good seasoning so I don't mind using it. However, what it lacks is the vegetable content that good stuffing should have. What I do is add the classic veggies to hop up the mix. Ingredients1 box of stuffing mix1 tbl Butter2 rib Celery finely chopped1/3 Medium Yellow Onion finely chopped1 tsp...
When you don't have time to do it the right way, here's a short-cut: poach an egg in the microwave, courtesy of The Kitchn. You Will Need:
Warnings Rat meat contains diseases, bacteria and much more gross $#!T.
Simple as the title, someone will particpate as a crash test dummy. The funny part of course the prank is the "particpate" will not know he is a crash test dummy. Its kinda like the prank that was pulled on Ryan Dunn in the addtional footage in the DVD of Jackass Number Two where an airbag was suppose to go off in his face. Well i hust thought of the same concept but add a 30 or if you want to go crazy, 40 mph crash into wall or whatever it may be. You would tell the person being pranked that...
Baking bread might feel intimidating in advance. The fear to screw it up can make one chicken out and instead keep buying bread as usual at the store. Personally, I am very picky about which bread to eat, and learned over time that home baked bread bits them all when made properly.
Every day of the week, WonderHowTo curators are hard at work, scouring the web for the greatest and most inspiring how-to videos. Every Friday, we'll highlight our favorite finds.
The Lawn Party cocktail. Doesn't its name say it all? A nice backyard daytime party full of happy guests and delicious summertime drink. How fun! Unless you don't know how to make a Lawn Party cocktail… then you're in trouble.
When you live on an island, spending time on the beach beomes part of the fabric of life (otherwise why live on an island). Whidbey has so many beaches to explore. I've been here several years and barely scratched the surface. I guess once I discover places I really enjoy, I tend to go back to them by default (creature of habit syndrome). It also doesn't hurt that I have a beach yards from my back door here on Sandy Point.
Ever heard of Nürburgring? If you're an auto racing enthusiast, you likely have. According to Wikipedia, the racetrack was nicknamed "The Green Hell" by Jackie Stewart (famed Scottish racing driver) and is known as "the toughest, most dangerous and most demanding purpose-built racing circuit in the world". Located in Germany, the older track was first built in the 1920s around the village and medieval castle of Nürburg in the Eifel mountains.
Does that (hopefully somewhat correct) tune ring any bells? Here's a reminder: Once upon a time there were two Italian plumbers named Mario and Luigi. Mario and his sidekick resided in the Mushroom Kingdom, a monarchy ruled by the beautiful Princess Peach. Mario's mission: stop the villain Bowser from his numerous attempts to kidnap the lovely princess.
What kid doesn't grow up enjoying a little snap, crackle and pop at the breakfast table? So, when I came across Craftzine's recipe for Rice Krispies burgers, I thought, yummm... why not? After all, it is grilling season. You Will Need:
Paul Lung requires nothing but a 0.5 mm technical graphite pencil, plus one sheet of A2 paper to create a nearly perfectly hand drawn facsimile of a photograph. The 38-year-old graphic designer of Hong Kong spends up to 60 hours on each labor intensive drawing.

The 2010 World Cup is upon us and there isn't much that hasn't been said already. All the leagues around the world are finished and champions have been crowned. The media has covered every angle imaginable. Or have they? Or should they? Is this about the sport anymore? What will we remember about this World Cup? A great goal, a new venue, a great comeback, injured players who never made it, a bad call by a referee, a new star rising, overlooked players, 4-4-2, 3-4-1-2, 3-4-3, bad subs, FIFA 2...

WonderHowTo World, LoadSave points us to great resource courtesy of Mashable: "Here are ten computer and arcade games we all know and love that you can now play online and free of charge. If you’re of a certain age, you probably played these games while waiting for your mom to finish grocery shopping. Or they might have been on your very first video game console. We hope you remember them fondly and enjoy playing them again."
