Well, five days into the contest and our submissions box is flooded with poo. You guys are 1) amazing & 2) chronically scatological. Poo fights, poo-filled balloons, poo-powered rockets, poo-slicked slides, poo-spiked drinks…you get the idea.
A simple idea, but I got a few chuckles out of it. A classic water balloon fight but instead of water use horse semen or horse urine as a substitute.

When you live on an island, spending time on the beach beomes part of the fabric of life (otherwise why live on an island). Whidbey has so many beaches to explore. I've been here several years and barely scratched the surface. I guess once I discover places I really enjoy, I tend to go back to them by default (creature of habit syndrome). It also doesn't hurt that I have a beach yards from my back door here on Sandy Point.
We made a video about the basics of ND gels the other day, and given that we don't have a grip truck to haul stuff off of we had to go actually buy gels from the photo supply store. I took the opportunity while there to grab another of my favourite things on the earth, a little sample-book put out by Lee Filters (Rosco makes them, too) containing little swatches of all the gels and scrims and reflectors that they make, which is a lot of different gels, scrims and reflectors.
