I came across your tutorial on external flash I could not get enough of it. I bought one and had no idea how to work it. Your tutorial did teach me a lot, you seem to explain it in detail. You made it sound a lot easier than it is.I am looking forward to more videos in the future to learn more about my camera and the fllash. My husband bought me a Canon Rebel a couple years ago and created a monster. I am an artist love to draw and it seems to show in my pictures.
Another poor quality photo but I swear the food was amazing. I loved the simplicity of the dish. The crisp sugar snap peas, zesty lemon chicken and aromatic potato's (I tossed in some bay leaves and garlic cloves while the potato's boiled... I think it made a difference) really all came together quite well.
This is the first boss we are releasing out of a "boss series" coming soon this summer! Using redstone, I think we managed to get the "boss feeling" in minecraft!
Are you ready for crazy, next-level music technology? I just completed a pretty fun introductory write-up on my new instrument called the Dub Cadet over at instructables.com. This is the first installment of a 3-Part series to explain how to build your own Dub Cadet or personally amalgamated hybrid.
How to play Spy, my personal favorite class What do Spies do?
This morning, NASA launched the five suborbital sounding rockets from Virginia as part of ATREX (Anomalous Transport Rocket Experiment). Each rocket was launched 80 seconds apart and released chemical tracers that created "milky, white clouds at the edge of space." Now, I've seen plenty of bullet tracers in my life, but these are far more poetic. Take a look at the time-lapse video and see for yourself. Why shoot these tracer rockets? To help scientists "better understand the process responsi...
So sorry I’m so sorry I’m not what you expected,
Here are three awesome videos on whipping up lab quality instruments in your garage! Science is accessible!
Lost the product key for your game? If you have to reinstall the game and don't have that key anymore, you're out of luck, especially if you didn't "buy" the game. But never be in fear of losing product keys again with today's Null Byte, where we'll be practicing a little bit of mind-kung fu.
Perhaps my only reason to stray from my democratic roots... Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich wants to send Americans back to the moon. And that's not all. In a direct quote, Gingrich promised: "By the end of my second term, we will have the first permanent base on the moon, and it will be American."
If you want to prank someone with a water balloon, but don't actually have any water balloons lying around, just use some paper instead. Yes, I know... paper doesn't sound like something that will work, but with you'd be surprised what can be done with a little origami.
With the purchase of my latest computer, installing Linux turned into a nightmare from Hell. The graphics drivers are probably the biggest issue that anyone with a newer computer will run into when installing Linux. AMD and NVIDIA are the dominant ones on the market, both of which have awful support.
Look, Batman: Arkham City is a wonderful game. I mean, you really feel like Batman when you play it, and that alone makes it the best superhero game I've ever played. But you're not here for my rambling thoughts on video games! Let's talk achievements.
When Cerek mentioned astronomy-inspired artwork in his Astronomy World introduction post, I immediately thought of Russell Crotty. Crotty is a California artist who creates beautiful sculptures and drawings inspired by astronomy, landscape, and surfing.
Check out this truly incredible redstone mechanism by Users Rezz and Psycho_ewt! It's an automated redstone game with a twist. You control the interactive screen using a retro NES controller. Let us know what you think or if you'd like to see us reverse engineer it. This build contains:
I remember playing this part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 fondly. Not because you take control of an awesome remote-controlled grenade shooting robot, but because I died toward the end of the level and had to restart back at the beginning of the robot section. Stupid checkpoints.

Strange as it may seem to super urban people, certain animals, like coyotes, have high reproduction rates and can be a true menace to ranching. Even in the county where I live, which is home to Colorado Springs, there is a $30 bounty on coyotes. All you have to do is bring in both ears to the game warden, and you will be paid.
Image Courtesy of Geistig I'd like us to start some big community builds that can be edited and worked on over time. An ancient or Medieval city sounds pretty cool. Maybe we can do some PvP in it, in the future as well!
this is a mobile that i made for my son. sorry about the poor image quality. this is in response to the question in the comments on the sculpture how to
The HP Touchpad 64 GB is out in action with a robust processor and additional applications in the market. Using the best technology on earth, it is looking forward to give a tough fight to the Apple’s iPad 2. The 64 GB HP TouchPad sound more promising to its predecessors. The experts feel that the two device, HP TouchPad 64 and Apple’s iPad-2 is more or less the same. Let’s have a glance over the device by discussing the various features it encompasses.
On the same day that Google+ introduced mobile hangouts to the world, I received an email from Skype introducing GroupMe, which sounds suspiciously similar to Google+'s messaging feature on mobile. GroupMe allows you to do group messaging, have one-on-one conversations with your contacts, and also ask "Questions", which is currently in beta. These new features are all supported in Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7.
This was from when I visited Haines, Alaska a few years ago. It's sped up footage of the air taxi landing. Quality isn't that great, since my camera broke right before my trip, so I had to borrow one from somebody else—but it was better than nothing!
It's a hell of a lot easier to make money selling an indie game now than it was four years ago. But it's still a rough game.
What to Look for When Pairing Beer with Food
Sorry for the low quality. It's hard to have your camera ready at all times when encountering such wild animals as the ever illusive Spidermankey.
It's perhaps every male Comic-Con geek's lecherous daydream: Pretty girls slathered in bodypaint, but not just any design or pattern. Superhero bodypaint—a crest of Superman slashed across the chest, a mysterious mask enclosing sultry eyes, a Spiderman hand clutching at… ugh, I just creeped myself out. I sound like I'm composing an Anaïs Nin novel for Marvel geeks. I'm going to stop now so you can scroll down and see for yourself.
I filmed this before moving over to HD so I'm afraid this isn't as high of quality as other videos posted here. I was trying to capture the intensity and destruction of a storm and also how nature always makes a comeback.
Athletic Therapist Marcia Franklin, from Quality Care Sports Injury and Rehab, explains the holistic approach to pain assessment.
Truly spectacular and one the most breathtaking DIY endeavors to grace the front page of WonderHowTo, a recreation of Pixar's UP house was launched to an altitude of 10,000 feet in a private airfield near Los Angeles this past week. The project was executed by a team of engineers, scientists and veteran balloon pilots—(meaning, please, Do Not Try This at Home).

Well, The Prophet Blog and Chart Rigger must be squirming in their matching trash bag onesies right now, because their stinky princess K$UX‘s new track is a proper T-U-N-E.
Time to welcome back that wacky David Guetta! He's back on the scene (if you can say he actually left) with his first release from his Crimbo Cash-In album, a re-issue of the very successful 'One Love', innovatively titled 'One More Love'.
Geekosystem has generously assembled a handy list of 10 foods you can allegedly make in a coffee maker. Sounds kinda grimy to me, but my own mother passed this link along, so if mom thinks it's kosher, I'll give it a try.
Music video shot with a Canon XH A1, 7D, 5D, and 60D. Yes, four different cameras. We illuminated the set with shiny boards only.
"Your bathroom is a minefield of toxins." Sounds a wee bit dramatic, no? But the video isn't kidding around here. A lot of the shampoos, lotions, creams, and soaps you use have ingredients linked to birth defects, cancer, and learning handicaps. And just think about it - we're using these gnarly ingredients on our skin every single day.
Yep, it's that easy. From Re-Nest: "To quiet the sound of a leaky faucet, simply tie a string around the neck of the faucet and allow it to catch the drips on the way down.
For all pickle aficionados, apparently the combination of sour pickles and sweet Kool-Aid is surprisingly delectable. Popular in Mississippi, Kool-Aid drenched pickles are a popular treat coined Koolickles. Sound unappetizing? Don't knock it 'til you try it. The New York Times reports, "[Koolickles] have an arresting color that combines green and garnet, and a bracing sour-sweet taste that they owe to a long marinade in cherry or tropical fruit or strawberry Kool-Aid."
