Learn how to tie the Boy Scouts trucker's hitch knot. The Trucker's Hitch (Lorry Knot in the UK and parts of Canada) allows the scout (or sailor or whatever) to easily tighten a rope, yet easily untie the knot. Its most common use is for tying loads (thus the trucker moniker) such as a canoe to a cartop, a tarp to trailer or any application where a very tight rope is needed. It provides the advantages of a block and tackle, without the heavy hardware.
The latest in the Legend of Zelda series, Skyward Sword, released a few short weeks ago to very little fanfare. Nicholas Entertainment Group (NEG) is a Polish independent game publisher that recently got their hands dirty with development. The Master Lock universal trailer coupler lock is a simple device really, the key locks and unlocks it, when you unlock it the slide comes out where the ball would be in the coupler. This short film was shot entirely on the Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR. It's called The Last 3 Minutes and was directed by Po Chan, and shot by cinematographer Shane Hurlbut, ASC. The main character is a janitor, whose life is kind of mundane. At least, that's what it seems like, but as the story develops, many layers of interesting happenings are revealed.
