Google recently announced that they added CardDAV support, an open protocol that lets you seamlessly integrate Google Contacts into other services. Google states that "Syncing via CardDAV is only available over SSL for Apple devices on iOS version 5.0 and above." So, if you're running an older iOS version, you'll have to use Google Sync instead.

Apple released the first developer beta for iOS 13.5.5 on Monday, June 1. The update comes on the same day Apple released iOS 13.5.1 to the public, which patched the unc0ver jailbreak, and 12 days after iOS 13.5, which introduced COVID-19 exposure notifications, in addition to other new features.
While all eyes might be on the next beta release for iOS 13, Apple is still pumping out updates for iOS 12. The company released iOS 12.4.1, the first update since iOS 12.4, on Aug. 26.
