North Koreans Not Known for Their Jetsetting This article from Deadspin does a bit of investigating into exactly who the DPRK fans are.
This is a great story about the title of a story. It can be really useful for any of you trying to think of a title for a story you have already written and it is also great when you are trying to write a story from a title you already know. Hope you enjoy!

From the makers of the cult favorite Rez. I don't know what's going on but I want it.
Make sure to click through for some bad-ass Flash-based World Cup explorer. I'm not sure whether something like this was available for the last world cup, all I know is that I'll be using that site quite a bit.
W-O-W. This trailer looks amazing. From 2kGames (Bioshock), this game looks to be set in the 50's with stellar art direction. I don't know how well this sits with people who have played the previous XCOM games, but from a new player perspective I really loved the trailer.
WonderHowTo science geek favorite, NurdRage, completely shatters a human heart using liquid nitrogen. Now, what I wanna know is... and I'm really asking... where the hell do you get a human heart?
You may follow a recipe for cake, but not really know why beating an egg turns it fluffy, or how to get the right amount of moisture for your cake. This article gives you a better understanding of cake and what makes a cake work. Maybe it'll help you out in your next recipe!
The World Science Festival's "Notes & Neurons: In Search of the Common Chorus" asks: Is our response to music hard-wired or culturally determined?
Why can't all video gaming be this extreme? I don't know much about F1 Simulators. But, man. The video below sure makes me want one.
There weren't many interviews with Bonham in them but here is one of the few, just as Zeppelin is hitting their peek. Here is another one of just Bonham, he remains very modest but there's also a side of him that sort of knows he the best. Here's some more sweet Bonham videos, they're not interviews but they are some great solos This one is ridiculous, it looks like it's being sped up, but its not, its just his regular speed: insane
I don't know about anyone else but Im so excited for this massive online multiplayer game. The potential here is endless.
A super cool anonymous woman rocks at playing the guitar... upside-down. I don't know about you, but I have yet to see a style quite this unique. That hand rolling move is awesome. Previously, 13-Year-Old Guitarist Wows Guitar Pros... and Yoko Ono.
I've been on the inside of my box reflecting to what is on the outside. I live my life outside the box but occassionally have to get back intot the box to see what's going on... I have been on a 4 - 5 week non creative mode... Through this time frame... great people on Mikeyssmail have been still continuing to exercise their creativity... I'm so pleased to see that! Though many ideas come daily on what I could do next... I'm not motivated by just a simple request... I've allowed this same tim...
This is some current research BMW is doing in the Augmented Reality field. Imagine that, without much training, you could accomplish almost any task easily with this type of Augmented Reality.

I can not track down the source for this awesome Lego Aircraft Carrier. Who ever created this did some amazing detail work. Seems like the ship is even remote controlled. If you know the creator of this masterpiece please post it in the comments. Thanks.
This is really more Director Humor, but I thought the shots pulled from Where's Waldo are classic. If you don't know who Werner Herzog is then you should find out...
Flickr user fdecomite showcases his beautiful portfolio of geometry-inspired papercraft. His dedication to the craft is astounding. Get ready to take a journey down the rabbit hole cuz this work gets trippy.
Via Eat Me Daily,
Origami + fashion = lots of fun. Origami dresses by Mauricio Velasquez Posada. Love how some of them completely engulf the models. Previously, Damn, This Dude Knows How To Fold Paper.
This is a 20 minute set of the Dead Weather from a site called From The Basement. This band is really crazy, but my favorite part of it is by far Jack White on drums, i think he really lays it down for the rest of the band.
Our list of "it" shutterbugs behind the images in your favorite glossies.
I could not stop laughing at this walkthrough. It's Christopher Florence, and he's going to take you through the original Sonic Jam on easy, "you know, no stress". "Nothing to worry about". At about 5:52 or so he starts talking about chili cheese dogs. It's great.
HOLLLLLYWOOOD! When I get a Louis V cake for my birthday, I'll know I've made it. Truly, truly awesome cakes by Highland Bakery of Atlanta, Georgia. (Oh Lord, the Hollywood Sign cake kinda leaves me breathless).
I've seen lots of amazing origami, but seriously, Benjamin Parker can fold. His intricate origami tessellations are incredible. Parker has been folding since the age of six, and has exhibited in galleries in the U.S. and Europe. To view all of his work, visit his flickr stream.

Can't help but love that visual, who knows how much longer this possibility will be around. The film gets jammed in the gate, the intense heat of the bulb begins to melt the celluloid.
I just started reading this book about the world of competitive Scrabble players. Who knew this simple board game could be so full of highs and lows?
Wow, never knew the Alexa shoots Pro Res. . . this camera is looking better and better.
Aside from the bizarre fascination with being able to see celebrity homes in Malibu (see the Streisand Effect: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streisand_effect), the CCRP is a great place to check out local surf spots up and down the Coast:
The jabutica tree is also known as the Brazilian grape tree, and has the unusual property of its fruit flowering directly on the trunk of the tree.
Wowsa, Happy Birthday Biz! MDV Expressions Cake Design made an edible turntable cake for the rapper and it actually spins! (Biz is best known for his single "Just a Friend" - if you need a reminder, second video in the gallery below).
Just in case you wanted to know the PSI you're pushing, you could mod your potato canon to include a pressure sensor.
People always say there's no green in Los Angeles, but that's not true. You just have to know where to look, and to find those pockets of greenery for yourself. One of the places I've been meaning to go back to is the Los Angeles Botanical Garden. It's full of pretty flowers and trees, and is a lot bigger than you think it is.
