Animals and insects make great cartoon characters. So get ready to learn how to draw a worm that turns into a bookworm. Ever since high school, I've been preparing my own taxes. Each year it gets more and more complicated, which results in me filing later and later, avoiding it until I have the time or just can't wait any longer. I even resorted to using TurboTax online to help do some of the grunt work for me these past couple years, but that hasn't stopped me from being lazy about it. I have yet to file my 2010 taxes, but I will very soon. Tomorrow, in fact—before TurboTax raises their prices.

Have you ever found a photograph - a photograph of complete strangers? Maybe in a used book or at a flea market? Not a photograph of anyone you know or anybody famous or of a place you’ve ever heard of. Just somebody else's ordinary, precious personal photo. Working at a used bookstore I found a number of photos tucked into books over the years. There's one on my fridge. There used to be one tucked into the edge of my mirror. There’s one that I brought home and put in a frame.

Let's say today is your birthday. You've just put those boisterous, vicenarian times behind you, reaching the first big step to your upcoming midlife crisis—30 years old. Around the world, X-People (yes... there are X-Women, too) are under attack from an intolerant sapiencentric ruling class. Integration without equality is a farce. Autonomy is denied outright. Human prejudice cannot abide a mutant state. Human fear, born to hate, imposes itself on the life of every mutant.
I was going to write an article on the death of Andrew Breitbart, but this video contains pretty much the summary of everything. Before watching though, I want you to question everything as practice for later. Questioning everything is a good thing, especially today.

The FBI decided to have a large internal teleconference on ideas and plans to wrangle in Anonymous 'members' - need less to say this ended in a rather unexpected way...
Being from the south I am partial to cobbler, especially peach cobbler. However I had some cherries on hand that needed to be used before they went bad so decided to give this a try. The end result was a sweet decadent dessert with just the right amount of tartness. Was great served warm with vanilla ice cream but just as good the next day cold.
Just finished it there, needs interior but you know me... :D Also the whole competition thingy, i'm going to take part just in my own area and mabey not taking part as in entering

I used both Instagram and Snapseed!
Snapseed, the photo-editing app that many have deemed "App of the Year" is now available for free in the App Store for New Year's. Normally priced at $4.99, this is the best deal you can possibly get. So if you don't already have it, hurry on up and snag it at no cost while you still have the chance.
Welcome, dear readers, to week two of Edit on a Dime, the community for inexpensive, and, dare I say it, free in many cases, editing software.
Got into some holiday spirit by building a gingerbread house with my family. Merry Christmas, everyone!
This is a sort of supplement to the Four-Element Table, with the additional four legs added for stability. The pipes are squished flat at the ends and riveted on, allowing this table to bear a much heavier load without compromising style.
Photo made with Doublexpro using two Hipstamatic Prints. I used several more apps to get the end result.
Now, I know what you're thinking... "I need an extra sexy coffee table that is like no other."
Here's the photo I came up with for this week's challenge. A Lego Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter that I built back in May.
